Personality and bio: Azizi is the son of Ni and one unknown female, a rogue. He was born during Taka's reign, when the food was already beginning to get scarce and the lionesses were beginning to starve. When the hyenas began looking for allies and for lionesses as well, all kingdoms knew they were no longer safe. Thamani, Azizi's mother, one of the best huntresses and one of the most beautiful lionesses as well, was one of the first to be taken to Shadowlands. She fought bravely against the group of hyenas, but unfortunately she didn't make it. Thamani was bleeding a lot, she really had no chance to survive. Ni was heartbroken when he found out. He had to raise his son alone.
Azizi had a very special bond with his father since the beginning, but when his mother died, he knew his father was changing - not just his personality, but his appearance as well. He discussed with his son for no reason, hardly ate and, when he was not hunting, Ni was always deep in his cave thinking about his beloved mate. Azizi really wanted to help his father, but there was not much he could do.
When he was just a teen, his father was hit by a strong wave of depression. Ni tried to rebuild that bond he once had with Azizi, in order to fight off that sadness. He succeeded to make it and Azizi promised that he would never leave his father.
Time passed and Azizi now was a handsome young adult. His peaceful life with his father has been broken for a while, when both received the news that there was a battle in Pridelands. Ni was too old and too weak to fight, so his son decided to help the Pridelanders. Obviously, Azizi and Vitani's relationship didn't start in a good way; they only began to like each other a little while after the start of Kovu's reign, when they fell in love. Azizi still visits his father when he can, even though he knows Ni is not depressed anymore.
