Personality: She's playful but can get annoyed easily, especially by Kasumbua. She learned to fend for herself as well because everyone else is always busy caring for kiara's every need and forgetting about her.
 

History: Akina was Simba and Nala's last born, making her the youngest of the pride and of their family. In her younger cubbie years, she was often found playing with her brother Kopa. The two siblings both had a certain distaste of their sister so they would often play tricks on her, which Kiara did not like at all! She would always tattle on them, but Akina and Kopa didn't mind, they were having too much fun!

What Akina didn't know was that when she was born, Akina was accused of being concieved out of wedlock. She looked practically nothing like simba, so they thought Nala had her with another male. Only Nala truly knew that Akina was really Simba's. Either way, simba treated her and loved her as his own (which she was).

Once she was an older cub, Kopa was too busy with girls to play with Akina anymore, so she only had one other cub to play with, whose name was Kasumbua. His name was no understatement which means Bothersome in Swahili. She played with him because there was no one else to play with, even though he bugged the crap out of her and followed her EVERYWHERE she went. He obviously had a crush on her.

When the new cub Musa came to Pride Rock with his father, Nala had told Akina to make friends with the new boy so he would feel welcome. Nala didn't have to tell Akina twice! The three cubs soon became best friends, and whenever they could get away from Kasumbua, they loved to play together! She secretly had a crush on the new boy, with his interesting and mysterious past, but she wasnt sure how he felt towards her, so they just played as best friends.

Once they got older, and Musa decided to leave pride rock when his father died, Akina was heartbroken but knew that it was up to him to find what he wanted. Besides.. it's not like they had a future together..

When Musa came back to Pride Rock, he found out that Akina and Kasumbua are engaged... Akina wasn't truly happy with Kasumbua, but what other option did she have if she wanted to have cubs? Kasumbua was the only male there able for her to marry! (until Musa came back..)
