She loves to play fight and is certainly not afraid to get her paws dirty.She's quite sassy and always seems to have a smart answer in mind,no matter what the subject.She has a sharp tongue and doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut,always landing herself in trouble.She's cheeky and fiesty,but at times she can be quite calm and understanding.She has a fiery temper and is actually easily angered,if the situation was right,of course. She hates being proven wrong,always thinking her way is right,but it usually isn't.She's not exactly smart; she does things without thinking,often landing herself and those around her in deep trouble.However,she's a loyal friend and will do anything for those she cares about,no matter what it is.

History;

It wasn't long after Simba's reign began that the old males returned to the Pride Lands. Simba invited them to stay for a while,but they weren't able to stay for too long as Simba was the only King,and having more males in a pride was not common. The King was glad to see his old friends alive and well,and they all had a great time. Kula was mostly delighted to see her best friend Chumvi back in the picture,and the two... really seemed to hit it off. 

It wasn't until Chumvi had left that Kula realized something.She was pregnant with Chumvi's cub. Sad that her love had left,she asked Simba and Nala for some help,and also asked if Chumvi could come back once in a while to see his cub. Simba felt sorry for his friend,she was in desperate need,but Chumvi was miles away and didn't know what he could do. He sent a few messanger lionesses out to find him anyway,just to calm the pregnant lioness down.

Hokori was born the day after the birth of Prince Kopa. The pride was delighted at the birth of two cubs,who were both adorable in their eyes. Kula was delighted for her friend Nala,who was equally delighted for the brown lioness. 

Kula named her daughter Hokori,as it meant dust as the cub had a dusty look to it. It pained Kula that her daughter resembled Chumvi so much; all it did was remind her that he wasn't here to see his own daughter,but she loved Hokori nonetheless.

Hokori grew up alongside Kopa and little Kiara,and they were all close... and all troublemakers.They were known in the Pride Lands for their pranks and for their annoying antics. What annoyed Hokori was that Kopa and Kiara often got away with whatever they had done,and Hokori always got in deep trouble.She was never given a break,and it was unfair.

One day,she,Kopa and Kiara all went to the Elephant Graveyard to see why it was so 'dangerous.' It was Kopa's idea,and he promised,if they were found out,that he'd take the blame for it all. Hokori believed him... Big mistake. They were attacked by hyena's,but luckily,Simba and Nala arrived just in time and fended off the hyena's.They fled,never going near the Graveyard again. Hokori expected Kopa to take full responsibility,but to her surprise,he blamed it entirely on her.He still got into trouble of course,but she was in even worse trouble.She was forbidden to go near the Prince and Princess,and this turned her personality around.

She became more of a loner and rarely talked to anybody. She noticed the other lion cub in her Pride,Radhi,often watching her,as if he felt sorry for her. She didn't seem to like him much because of how kind hearted he was. She felt as if he was trying too hard to be her friend; she felt no need for friends anymore,all they did was turn their backs on you.She never let anyone go too close to her,except for her mother.Her behavior worried everyone... Especially a certain someone.

Still determined to bring her out of her shell,Radhi made many attempts to talk to her. But she refused every conversation,often just walking away. She saw him most of the time,but sometimes he wasn't there,and his snobby big brother,Huru,was there instead.Hokori didn't really like Huru. He was like her though,always quiet and much of a loner. They would often share glances,but never a conversation.It was always silence.Hokori often wondered if he was related to Radhi at all.

As she grew into her adult years,the battle between the two lands was finished. Hokori felt sorry for Radhi,after all,he had now lost his mother.She began to talk to him after this. She may have been cold,but she wasn't Kopa.She wasn't going to turn her back on others. At first,it was just small talk.Then the relationship clicked. They started to talk more and more,and then suddenly,Hokori felt so.. relaxed with him.She even told him every detail,all the pain she had been feeling,the things she really wanted to get off her chest. And Radhi listened.He didn't judge her,nor did he try to force her into thinking in a different way. He smiled softly,and then started giving the best advice she could possibly asked for.She also noticed something... He was shifting a little closer to her,and was also blushing.She then asked...

Did he like her? 

It was amusing to watch. Why? Well,simply because Radhi tried to deny it,but he was absolutely terrible at lying and so,Hokori had her answer. She laughed,the first time she had laughed since her cubhood,and she nuzzled him,stating the truth.

She liked him too.

Though surprised,Radhi was delighted.The two became mates and Hokori had finally cleared the dust from her past...
