Story: Thabo and his younger twin sister Thoraya were born to Simba and Nala shortly after they took over the Pride Lands as king and queen. A while later they had another little sister, Kiara, whom they were best friends with and as cubs, they did everything together and loved exploring new lands. When the decicion was made that he'd be next in line for the throne as king after his father Simba, Thabo was overwhelmed and he thought it was the best thing that ever happened to him. He started spending more time with Simba, who taught him all the basic things he needed to know about being king and how to rule lands, and such, but also he now had less time with his sisters. Not only that, but during his father's lessons Thabo often got distracted and wondered off, sometimes after smaller animals and sometimes just simply got his attention dragged into something else. This happened not so few times, and when it started happening almost everytime, it made Simba rather hesitant about his decicion on making Thabo the next king. Simba and Nala had a talk, and decided that Kiara would be the next in line instead, which Thabo at first was rather annoyed about, but finally accepted his parents decicion, as he realized Kiara would make a much better ruler than him. Meanwhile, Kiara who was rather lonely without her brother, had sneaked away from Timon and Pumbaa and met an outlander male lion cub named Kovu. They never saw each other again, however, until Thabo and Kiara had reached adulthood and a fire broke out in the savannah when Kovu saved Kiara's life. Kovu was allowed to stay in the pride by Simba, who owed him his daughter's life, and Thabo soon befriended the rogue as well. But after learning Kovu was a former member of the Outland pride led by his father's old enemy, Thabo got extremely suspicious and started keeping an eye on him. And after his father was ambushed by the Outlanders and badly wounded, Thabo's fears all came true. However, when the war broke out between the Pridelanders and the Outlanders broke out, Kovu suddenly stepped on their side, and managed to get most of the Outlanders to join him, and that's when the prince realized that the rogue had indeed changed. Altough, a few weeks after the battle and after Kiara and Kovu were bethrothed, Kovu suddenly panicked, and realized he wasn't cut out to rule a kingdom, so he fled the Pridelands, without saying a word to anyone. When he saw how heart broken his sister was, Thab swore that if he ever saw Kovu again, he'd make him pay for abandoning Kiara like that. Some time later he and Ayana had their cubs, two sons and a daughter, and raised them in the Pridelands, but as they reached young adulthood, Thabo and Ayana decided that it was time to move on, and start their own pride with their little family, followed by Thabo's best friend Faraji and his mate and daughters. So, they settled to a riverbank area not too far from the Pridelands, and claimed the land calling it the Riverside pride.
