Personality: Nakisisa is very much a loner, he doesn’t care much for company but he doesn’t dislike others. He just prefers to be, and do things, on his own. He likes to do things in orderly manners, but can veer if need be. He is a leader at heart and, if ever given the chance, isn’t afraid to speak up about who he thinks thing should have been done. He can be somewhat controlling at times, very much prefer to have things done a certain way and if they aren’t done this way he can get very upset over it. Despite all this, deep down Naki is very caring. He’s even been know to help animals that he would normally call dinner if it were any other situation. He doesn’t care much for violence but does know how to throw a paw if need be.

Likes: Long quiet walks by the river, the jungle, Hasa, watching quiet rain storms from his cave, and nice naps in the sun.

Dislikes: Cold days, bugs, annoying questions, thunder, leopards, noisy birds, and large crowds.

Fears: He has a slight fear of thunderstorms and tends to hide from them if one rolls in.

Wishes: To somehow make the father he lost proud, and more recently to help Hasa in anyway he can.

Regrets: Not helping his father when he had the chance.

History: Nakisisa was born into a pride to the east of the Pridelands. His father was a member of the pride, while his mother was a rogue who had been passing through and decided to stay for a while. Naki's father was very caring, and loved his cubs with all of his heart. Nakisisa had three younger siblings born in the same litter as himself, he being the first born. The king of the pride rejoiced at the occasion for it had been a long time since such healthy young had been born to the pride. Because the king had no mate or cubs to call an heir, it was decided that once the cubs were old enough a trial would be held to see who would next take the throne.

When the cubs turned six months the trial was held, it tested all the things the cubs had been learning in their short lives. Though he tried his hardest, Naki still wasn't the best. Instead it was his sister Anan who won the trial, though they were surprised it was the only female of the litter to win they excepted her as the next heir none the less. Naki was happy for his sister and supported her the best any brother could.

Time seemed to fly by, and before long all four cubs were now teenagers. Naki was becoming more and more independent of his family and through this he actually got closer to his father. While Anan was training and Naki's brothers were off doing who knows what, Naki was with his father learning skills such as hunting and some combat. He could sense that the time when he and his brothers would be driven away was fast approaching, and though he knew what would happen when that time came he wasn't ready for it. Sadly fate had other plans for him.

One day while he and his father were out hunting a gang of rogues ambushed them. Naki’s father fought hard, but they were too much for him. Nakisisa had to watch while his father was killed right in front of him. When the adult males turned their attention on him, he ran, and didn’t stop until he ended up in the jungle. Knowing he could never return to the pride he stayed there, soon finding a empty cave to call home.

After a year living there, he was making rounds along his territory borders when he came upon a sick and injured teen lion. His body was battered but Naki could tell none of his wounds would scar. He took the young male back to his cave and helped nurse him back to health, when he was well enough Naki learned that the kid’s name was Hasa, and that he had been exiled from his pride on a crime he hadn’t committed. Nakisisa decided he could stay with him if he wanted, it had been a long while since he had any company and having the younger around might prove to be entertaining. Hasa had been more then happy to stay, seeing as he had no other place to go.

Naki is currently the only ‘black’ lion that I have.

Naki shares his name with Kiwapa(© Khione)’s father though they are completely unrelated.

Naki’s current residence is the jungle in which Simba was raised.

His relation to the movie is that he is friends with Hasa who is the son of Kiara, and his uncle, Zola, was once good friends with Simba.
