Personality

Nimbala is thinkable and intelligent.She is very careful about strangers,but gentle and talkative among friends and family.A natural leader,Nimbala would do anything for her pride,and put their good in front of hers.Ready to sacrifice everything if needed for the pride good,Nimbala makes her decisions depending on that,and would even rebel against the leader if the pride is not well-cared.

History

Nimbala was born as the fifth child of the pride leader,Joel,and one of his lionesses,Chinika.She was the first cub of her mother,and many of her father,so she grew in a big family.

Her father barely even knew she insisted,not even caring for her next to his two older sons,Ashur and Ishtar,and his capable daugher Aisha.Her older half-sister Chiku was the only one, besides her mother ,from her family to accually care about her.True,twins Ashur and Aisha occasionally came to visit her,but they didn't spend time playing with her as  Chiku did.

Nimbala's best cubbie friends were Uru,the daughter of Zawadi,who was a friend of the king of the land they lived on the borders; and Choyo,a young orphaned cub which parents left him,and Nimbala's aunt took care of him.

She spent her cubhood happily,without any queen trainings or problems to worry about.

As a teen,Nimbala watched how Uru and Choyo develop a love relationship,and often felt like a third wheel among the two of them.She started hanging with them less and less,seeking refuge among her pride-sisters,but she didn't felt like belonging with them like with Choyo and Uru when they were cubs.

She found peace with a handsome teen lion named Tembo.Tembo was somewhat like Nimbala herself,forgotten by his best friend because of Jaha,another one of Nimbala's half-sisters,born not very long after herself.Tembo and Nimbala got along very well,and she soon started to fell in love with him.Tembo liked her too,and Nimbala found herself understanding Uru and Choyo.

Her peace,however,didn't last very long.As a young adult,Uru was bethrothed to prince Ahadi,heir of the Pridelands,and son of king Mohatu,the friend of Uru's father.Uru soon left for Pridelands,leaving emptyness in the hearts of both Choyo and Nimbala.She missed her dear friend very much,but found refuge in her crush Tembo and her newborn half-brother,Oneka,who was weak and small.

However,Nimbala noticed Choyo sneaking in the middle of night,and by following him she found out he was secretly meeting with Uru.She tried to stop Choyo, telling his they would get in trouble if somebody from the Pridelands found out, but Choyo refused to let his love go .

Terrible events soon shaked the Border lions.Nimbala's father,king Joel,died under mysterious circumstances,and his oldest son Ashur was about to claim the throne.However,his younger brother Ishtar killed him,and became the king instead,starting a rule of tyranny.

All males,from teens to old seniors,were banished from the pride's range,including Choyo and Nimbala's beloved Tembo.

Nimbala and Aisha tried to stop Ishtar's tyranny,but he wouldn't listen to anybody.

Nimbala tried to find another ways to take Ishtar from the throne,but none seemed to work.

At last,she did what most of the other lionesses did,

and left her home and the pride she remembered.She found her old friend Choyo,and looked everywhere for Tembo,but the young lion was nowhere to be found.Heartbroken and sad,she lived with Choyo,who was also devastated because Uru was pregnant,but didn't know if the cub was his of Ahadi's.

Nimbala and Choyo soon became mates,but more than sadness that their beloveds were gone than their true love for each other.Nimbala gave birth to Choyo's cub,a girl named Sarafina, but she kept thinking about her old pride and what could she do to stop Ishtar.

          Soon after she gave birth to another cub,

whom she named Joel after her father,the answer came.Her favourite sister Chiku came to her,very wounded and almost dead,with only one word to tell Nimbala,but making everyting clear.“Isthar“,she said,and dying soon after.

Nimbala knew she must do something,and she went to her beloved pride,to save what could be saved.Along with some other lionesses that hated Ishtar,she confronted him.After seeing in what monster had her brother turned,Nimbala was sure she must take the pride in her hands.She gathered most of the lions and lionesses that remember the old Border lions,and took them in a battle against Ishtar and few of his allies.

The battle ended well for Nimbala,Ishtar was killed and his survived allies were banished,but Nimbala lost another one of her sisters,the brave Aisha,twin sister of Ishtar.

Nimbala took the lead of the Border lions,and upon their wish she lead them away from the Pridelands' borders,leaving her cubs,and her friend Choyo.At first she felt grief for leaving them,but after the pride settled in their new home,she met her old love Tembo,who said he'd seen Choyo and the cubs moving towards Pridelands,and asking if they could join the pride.

Tembo and Nimbala lived a happy life in the pride,Nimbala giving birth to Tembo's daughter,whom they named Dafina.

Nimbala led her pride in many troubles,never giving up and giving the best to them.She died fighting in a battle with hyenas for the pride's good.

She was,and is,remembered as one of the greatest leaders the Border lions ever had.
