History: 

Born a year before Nala, Kris was the less mature one of the two and was always looking for a way to annoy his sister and mother. He had always been Mufasa's favorite but after he had met Simba( his half Brother) he quickly grew mad at his father for making Simba the future king and not him.  He frequently asked his father why he wasn't chosen, but Mufasa had said " My son. Be patient your time as king will come soon enough"

He had been torn apart when Scar had told the pride that his father had died in a stampede. But he wasn't upset when his uncle had told him that Simba had died as well. He saw this as a chance to become King. But he was soon banished from the PrideLands because Scar had not wanted any competition that might put his plan at risk. 

He lived just out side the Pride Lands meeting with his mother and sister occasionally for news about Scars reign. After a while Nala couldn't stay and watch everyone suffer and she went to find help, Kris had insisted that he go with her just in case. She came back with Simba. They managed to work together and form a plan with the others pride members. Kris managed to sneak into the Pride Lands without being noticed. He fought side by side with Simba and Nala. He saw his mother Sarafina get killed by some hyenas, He managed to kill them but it was too late for his mother. Blinded by rage Kris took on Scar and was knocked off of Pride Rock, and luckily landed where the fire had not yet reach and was unharmed. 

After the battle and the hyenas were gone Simba had requested that he rejoin the pride. Kris refused remembering his fathers words and went to look for his own pride.
