Personality: Shani is a big dreamer who isn't afraid of anything. She loves to be mischievous, often getting into trouble and playing pranks on others. She loves seeing new places and meeting new places. Shani is easily bored and isn't afraid to get down and dirty. She loves her family buts needs to be free too.

Likes: Exploring, Playing with her brother, Dreaming, Stories, and her family

Dislikes: Hyenas, Kanu, and when her brother is too protective over her

History: Shani was the second cub of Kiara and Kovu's twins. She looked like her father but was a mix of both in her personality. It was clear from her first day that she would be a handful.

As a cub, Shani was always getting into trouble. She loved to explore but often did not listen to her parents in the process. She is a 'Daddy's Little Girl' but isn't afraid to fight with the boys. Shani and her twin brother, Leon, are very close. They did everything together and shared everything. The two were complete opposites but they brought out the good in each other. Kiara and Kovu soon realized that their cubs could not share a crown like they did everything else and feared it would ruin their great relationship. So, both cubs were taught how to rule over the Pride Lands. Shani and Leon did not question it any further. Neither of them were thinking that far ahead into the future and just enjoyed their youth. 

Then, Leon met a girl named Hasnaa. It was clear the two were practically perfect for each other and Shani was a bit jealous. She knew Leon had a crush on this girl and wanted to spend more time with Hasnaa, than her. Shani tried not to let it bother her and it gave her the chance to grow as her own individual. Shani began to dream of far off places with daring quests just waiting for her. She started to act out more and sneak out often. 

When she was a teenager, Shani managed to leave the den at night and cross the borders of the Pride Lands. Meanwhile, Leon was out with Hasnaa so she easily got away with it. Then, five hyenas ambushed her. Shani was a strong fighter and managed to win, but she did escape with injuries. Including, a bite wound on her ear. Leon was furious the next morning and refused to let Shani out of his sight. Shani did not like this idea, she enjoyed her freedom. 

Then, when Shani was a yougn adult, she decided she could not wait any longer. She wanted to travel before becoming too old and settling down with a family. She left the Pride Lands, not telling her brother in case he would force her to stay. Shani wandered around for a bit and when she came across a jungle, there she met a lion her age and his mother, named Kgosi and Duni. The two seemed very nice. Shani and Kgosi became friends quickly. He even tagged along on her adventerous to different places. Shani had lots of fun but when she and Kgosi started to fall in love, she decided to return to the Pride Lands.

Shani found her brother in a terrible positon, where the others doubted if he was going to make a good king. Shani offered her help but Leon was more interested in Kgosi. Leon did not like Kgosi at first and was too protective over her. Kgosi's father, Kanu, was a lion banished from the Pride Lands long ago by Simba but still swore his revenge. He used Kgosi, who did not know of the plan, to attack Shani. Luckily, Shani had Kgosi and Leon to protect her. They worked together to put an end to Kanu. Kgosi and Leon came to an agreement. Kgosi and his mother, Duni, were able to live happily in the Pride Lands. 

Shani helped her brother rule over the Pride Lands and together they maintained peace in their kingdom. Shani and Kgosi even became mates.
