Personality: Aida is very intelligent, using her head more than physical strength. She is known for being witty and sarcastic. Aida does have a sweet motherly side and is never seen being strict. She is loyal to her pride and family. She is down-to-earth and a very kind lioness.

History: Aida was born and raised like any other Pride Lander girl. Her father and the King were old friends and they decided to have their cubs marry each other. Aida and Mohatu were betrothed at a young age but their parents did not speak of it until they were older. 

Aida grew up like any other cub. She had many friends, who she was loyal too, and always had energy. She wasn't one to sit still in silence for more than two seconds. Aida was always up and running around somewhere. She became famous for her strong sense of humor and sarcasm at a young age, though her father did not agree with such behavoir. Growing up, Aida's parents were very strict and she was forced to live by many rules. Aida was always getting into trouble because she believed in having freedom to live her own life. 

Aida became a beautiful teenager, but she was not one who was very interested in marriage. She was becoming a skillful hunter and still young. Her father finally told her that she was expected to marry Mohatu and be his king. At first, she did not want to be forced to get along with Mohatu. The two were barely talked as a cubs and were not friends. At that age, Aida was sure her father was always wrong so she defied him when she got the chance. However, many times Aida was forced to show support for Mohatu and get along with him. She only pretened to like him.

As time went on, Aida could not find another reason to pretend anymore. Mohatu was always very kind to her and he was willing to listen to her opinions. He often asked her questions. Then, she learned Mohatu was not sure of the marriage either but he was doing what he could to make the best of this situation. Aida became more comfortable with the prince. He loved her sense of humor and laughed at almost everything she said. Aida could not hide it anymore. The two became friends and Aida soon fell for the charming prince Mohatu. 

Aida realized her father finally did know what was best for her and she married Mohatu. She became queen and was loved by all. Many looked up to her as inspiration and Mohatu gave her enough freedom to express herself in anyway she wanted. As queen of the Pride Lands, she helped Mohatu rule over all and even had a beautiful, energetic daughter named Uru.

*I made Mohatu and Aida's daughter Uru, instead of their son being Ahadi. I just never liked how pictures of Ahadi did not match the description and his description was very different to Mohatu. Plus, I like the idea of Uru being born into royalty. Please, no complaints.*
