History:
Zira's defeat and death paved the way for the rise of a new era. The Outlanders and Pridelanders merged together as one. Kovu and Kiara, with the blessing of her father Simba and the shaman Rafiki, were finally bonded together for life. Time quickly passed and Simba stepped down, making Kovu and Kiara the rulers of the Pridelands. Then the Pridelands rejoiced one again; Kiara was having a cub!
Little Hasani was a mixture of his parents. As the first-born, he was immediately in line for the throne after his parents passed. As a young cub, he didn't show much appreciation for Rafiki, even though the old shaman healed his paw after it had been twisted in a fight with the other cubs. Kovu and Kiara were a tad worried about that attribute of their son.
Then one day Zazu appeared, telling Kovu and Kiara that Rafiki had called for them immediately. The King and Queen rushed to the baboon's old tree, where Rafiki told them of a prophecy he had made the night before. Kovu was on guard from then on, even though Hasani didn't believe it.
Then the news spread that Kiara was bearing another cub. When the cubs were born, it was a shock to everybody. They were twins, but so different from each other. The girl was white as snow, and the boy was as dark as mud. Kiara and Kovu were worried about Rafiki's prophecy, but Hasani simply enjoyed being an older brother.
Yuna and Giza ended up being a troublesome duo, but surprisingly, always looked up to Hasani. Hence, whenever Hasani was off for King training, Yuna and Giza ended up tagging along. Time passed, and Hasani grew up into a teen. That's when his grandfather, Simba started to train him into being a true king. Hasani found a few of the lessons boring, but Simba found an alternative strategy; stories. He related the stories of how his own father trained him to be king, and he was just like him.
The problem was, Hasani didn't believe Simba when he related the tale of how Mufasa appeared to him. Simba just hoped that this would pass.
Hasani grew into a brave, strong lion, making everybody proud. He found himself in constant fights with his cousin, Nuka (his aunt Vitani's son) over simple things. Still, the two became closer than ever when Hasani had his eye on a rogue female, who promptly broke his heart and Nuka comforted him. Kiara then decided to unleash her secret weapon.
She introduced Hasani to Bianca, the daughter of an ex-Outlander, and the young lion was head over heels for her. The two spent time together, and that's when Kiara also laid the bomb that the two were bethrothed to each other since they were cubs. Hasani surprisingly didn't mind this, which led to a lot of teasing from his younger siblings.
Despite his non-believing attitude, Hasani started to feel like something bad was coming, but he just didn't know what.
Relation to TLK: Kovu and Kiara's son, bethrothed to the daughter of an ex-Outlander

Hasani will be a great King, of that I have no doubts, but I have a
feeling he and Giza will suffer a real heavy separation in the future,
especially with their temperaments being so different. That's never
good, especially for royal born lions. |
