Personal:

Likes: Friends, Pride lands, pouncing, hunting, cuddling, & star-gazing.

Personality: A very confusing lioness, she has very large mood swings, and tend to get very grumpy. When she's not in her bad moods, Mateka is quite a sweet person. She never lies, never breaks the rules, and is a very loyal lion. 

Story:  First-Born in Malka's pride, she was in the unlucky situation to be left parent-less when Malka's pride was attacked by rouges. Both her parents did not make it, but one of their loyal subjects managed to rescue poor little Mateka, whom's eyes weren't even open. The lioness took the newborn to the Pride Lands, where only recently Prince Kopa was born.

The King and Queen took pity on Mateka, and raised her along side the Prince. Once Mateka first opened her eyes, she grew a major crush on him.  As they grew up, they became best friends, and did everything together.  All was well untill Simba and Nala announced that she and Kopa would be betrothed. Mateka was thrilled. Kopa, was not.

It was around this time the Prince met a beautiful cub from the Outlands called Vitani. Kopa soon forgot his friend, and spent his every daylight hours talking and playing with Vitani.  When Vitani managed to stop her own mother from killing Kopa, she and the outlanders were welcomed back to the lands.

Many years had parted and Mateka's fate was written. Vitani and Kopa were to be mates, and she was left alone.  Despite Kopa's friendly pleads for his friend, she walked along the dangerous border of the Pride Lands. One day, Mateka was raped by a rouge wandering the border. Unlucky Mateka, was soon to find out she was pregnant, with little Jana.
