Personality: Alihana is very adventurous and active. She hates being bored and having others think of her as stupid. She can’t seem to sit still. Alihana often caused trouble as a cub, but could never actually harm someone. She loves her family, and is very close with her father. Alihana gets along more with boys than girls, especially when it comes to her siblings. She is determined and headstrong but can be very childish.

History: Alihana was the third cub of Akili and Kinaya's litter of cubs, being the second daughter. Since young cubhood, Alihana had the most outgoing personality of all her siblings. She could never sit still for too long and often got distracted by things. Alihana and her older brother, Ari, were very close and looked out for each other.

When Alihana was a cub, it was very clear that her and Tamu, her older sister, did not get along. Tamu would often ignore Alihana, taking no interest in her own sister, and Alihana would often play pranks on her sister in return because she hates to be ignored.  No matter where Alihana went, she always did make it a point to ask if her younger siblings wanted to join her. 

Alihana grew into a teenager, but never grew out of her childish acts. It was then when Akili found it necessary to have alliances with other prides, after a frightful infestation of thieving hyenas. Akili planned to have Ari marry a female from another pride. Ari was given a choice of who he wished to marry. They also did not rush the marriage. Akili was also forced to get on better terms with the Pride Lands, the place he left. They agreed to have his oldest daughter, Tamu, married with another male. From the start, Alihana did not like the male they picked out for her sister from the start. Tamu went along with it, believing fate would have everything fall into place. Alihana tried to warn them but no one believed her.

Alihana went to her older brother. However, even he took a lot of convincing. She had to beg her brother to just trust her enough to keep a closer eye on Tamu and her fiance. Though mostly against it, Ari agreed to get Alihana to let go of this theory she had. It was then discovered that Alihana was right. They caught him in the act, and then went to Akili. With others on her side, Alihana was finally listened to. Tamu was saved from the marriage, forever thankful to her sister. Alihana began to find it fun to explore other lands, there she met another Pride Lander. This one, Chaka, was a lot more fun and nice to be around other than the other Pride Landers Alihana met. She developed a crush on him and were even allowed to be married, finally setting up the alliance between Akili's pride and the Pride Lands.
