As the twin princesses grew up,Simba and Nala told Kiara and Shani that Kiara was going to be heir. Thats when Kiara started teasing Shani about her not being Queen.Shani wanted to be Queen so this upset her. But Kiara stopped after she realized it was hurting her sister. Apart from that,The girls were really close.

When Kiara started her lessons about being Queen,Shani was very Lonely. So Nala decided to teach Shani hunting. This is the time Shani and Nala became very close.Shani was a very shy person so it was hard for her to make friends.

As she grew,Shani became better and better at hunting everyday. Her and Kiara were both preparing for their first hunt which was in a few days. And Shani was excited,But Kiara wasn't.So Shani helped Kiara with her hunting.

After Kovu and Kiara got together, Shani started to like Kovu,Soon she fell in love with him. She finally told Kovu and he felt the same way.

When they told the pride about their love, Kiara was furious. She attacked her sister and left the Pridelands. She finally became queen with Kovu by her side.

But soon after Kiara came back,With Nuka! They told Kovu and Shani that they too, Had fallen in love.Shani was happy that Kiara fell in love again. And they could finally be sisters again

Soon Shani found out she was pregnant with Kovu's cub. The two were both thrilled. And they were both blessed with a healthy girl and a heathly boy. They named the two Kamili and Zuberi. Shani fell in love with her cubs the minute they were born.

Soon Kiara had a cub, A boy who she and Nuka named Bakari. Shani and Kiara also became sisters to a little boy called Tanabi.
