Personality: Very superstitious, Kosey is that kind of lion who believes in magic and spirits and all that. He's kind of a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, and has left his fate up to the Great Kings. Due to this unkindling faith, Kosey is one of the only lions who the Great Kings can communicate with. He is constantly on edge at the slightest bit of danger, and is clearly a lover, not a fighter. Despite all that, he is a very caring soul and feels for everything, even a tiny ant. He nurtures a very adventurous nature, and is always the first to volunteer for an outing. He is also known to be quite a ladies man.

History:

Kosey was born along with his older twin brother, Onani to Hiari and Zareb, who had just taken up the mantles of King and Queen.  Since he was a cub, he was a great believer in mystical stuff, and was constantly teased for this, despite his numerous claims that he did speak to the Great Kings. Luckily, his mother was right there to comfort him, and so was his brother, although he didn't actually believe his brother.

Then one day, Kosey dreamed of dark skies and ran to his parents, telling them that the Great Kings had sent a message: a terrible storm was coming. Onani scoffed at his brother, finally losing his patience, but his mother clamed him down, and his father sent a search party to investigate. To his surprise, he found that Kosey's intuition was right, the skies darkened day by day, until lightning finally struck and rain mercilessly poured down over the mountains. 

Luckily, due to Kosey's early warning, there were very less deaths and the entire kingdom survived the storm. After that, Kosey became the center of attention was praised for his quick thinking, even though the others laughed when he told him that the Great Kings actually told him that. But from then, Kosey started getting more and more dreams from the "skies above".

As a young adult, Kosey found himself competing with his brother Onani for the affections of Halla, Onani's cubhood friend. Onani expressed his desire to make Halla his queen, but Kosey also felt that he had a chance to win Halla's heart. Things grew heated between the two brothers for a few weeks until Halla expressed her love for Onani, leaving Kosey heart-broken and left out.

That night, Kosey had a really strange dream. He dreamed of a maned lioness confronting his mother, and then the scene changed when she leaned over his brother. Kosey woke up with a shot and told Onani that he was in danger, but Onani accused him of being jealous that Halla chose him instead. Kosey left the topic, but never stopped thinking about it.

Soon the time came for Onani to accept the throne, and he did so with Halla by his side. Kosey, though happy for his brother, wondered whether the Great Kings would give him his happy ending. Then, that very afternoon, while patrolling the borders, he came across a lioness named Keisha, who he liked right away. He found himself falling head-over-heels for her within just a few days, although he would never admit it, and it took a while to finally open up to her about his feelings (a few months, to be exact).

Then Onani and Halla announced that they wanted a heir to the kingdom and were going to try for a cub. But sadly, Halla found out she couldn't have cubs due to her infertility. Luckily, Kosey was there to cheer Onani up, and even offered to have a cub that would be the next ruler. It took Onani a while to accept that, but he eventually caved, and proclaimed his niece or nephew the next king or queen of the Mountain pride.

Unfortunately, Keisha was unable to conceive a cub even after multiple tries, and suggested that Kosey find someone else to bear him a cub. A lioness named Ese, who wanted a cub, offered herself up and soon bore him a cub who looked a lot like Onani himself. Kosey gave his dying mother the chance to name his newborn son, and she named him Malka. 

But the happy mood didn't last long, since Onani found himself haunted by dreams of a maned lioness. Kosey felt something wrong with this picture and tried to investigate, but the Great Kings were silent for the first time. Kosey felt extremely helpless as he watched Onani slowly lose his mind, and slowly succumb to insanity.

With a heavy heart, Kosey took up the throne and tried to teach his son everything Onani would have, hoping that one day, he would be reunited with his family once again.
