Distinguishing Features: grey-brown fur, dark mane, ear tufts, eye patches, dark purple-blue eyes, brown nose, coloured paws and thighs

Personality: Zareb really lives up to his name. He is extremely protective of his pride, and is not afraid to go up against someone who hurts it. Even more overprotective of his loved ones, he tends to get into quarrels very fast. He is described by as a volcano just waiting to rupt, with the way he unleases his fury. Apart from that, Zareb is shown to be a good and wise leader, taking deep thought into each and every decision he makes. Due to this contrast, he is also said to be two sides of the same coin, and you'll never know what you'll get hit with. Just don't expect him to be civil and nice if you take a hit on his family.

Dislikes: rogues, anyone threatening his pride and family 

History:

Being the only son of the King and Queen of the Mountain Pride, Zareb was automatically chosen to be the next king. So, he did the usual. He went for lessons with his dad, spent time with the majordomo and learnt hunting from his mother. He spent time with every lioness, and met all the animals in his kingdom. His father encouraged him to take as many decisions as he could, so that he could be a good ruler one day. 

Zareb looked forward to being king, but the real blow struck when he was a teen and his father tried to find a queen for him. He tried taking his opinion, but Zareb didn't like any of the lionesses in his pride, since all of them were simply just "airheaded bimbos who wanted to cash in on his status". So, his father sent out a message to the neighbouring prides instead, and got a ton of replies. Unfortunately for him, Zareb rejected all of them instantly.

But then he was told that the Queen of the Pridelands was going to arrive with her daughter. Zareb wasn't sure how to react, since he had no idea what this girl looked like, but was willing to try and see if she was a match. 

Laying on a rock outside, he spotted two lionesses coming up. Judging by their stride and high held heads, he guessed that this was the queen and her daughter. The princess then looked at him, and he instantly felt a connection. Honestly, his father was so relieved to see that he really liked this girl, who was named Hiari. 

They spent a lot of time together, and he grew to love her fiercely. The good thing was, when he was handed the throne, she was already pregnant with cubs. But something else happened during that time. Another lion was sighted on the borders, so of course he was going to take a look. When confronted, the lion revealed that he was nameless and that he had come from the Pridelands.

On that note, Zareb's beautiful queen decided to take this nameless lion in. When asked to why he was out of the Pridleands, he revealed that there was an evil that he had to defeat: Hali.

The shock didn't last long enough as it was revealed that this lion was carrying a strange diesease, to which he succumbed to not long after his induction into the pride. Hiari was upset, but was lifted when she finally gave birth to two cubs, Onani and Kosey,

With a lot of thought, Zareb decided to make Onani his heir, a decision which Hiari approved.
