Personality: Ari was a born leader from the beginning. He always took charge and was ready to help others. He was much like his father, always being the one to keep the peace and keep things fair. Ari looked after his younger siblings but never let his sister, Alihana, down when it came to having fun. He may be the prince/king but he also knew how to have fun and relax.

History: Ari was the first born cub of Akili and Kinaya. He was then followed by his two sisters, Tamu and Alihana, then his only brother, Radhi. Ari was very much like his father, a good leader with a kind heart, from the very beginning. 

As a cub, Ari was always the leader of his group. He and his sister, Alihana, were exceptionally close. They did just about everything together and Ari was always looking out for her. Ari was also one of the few that were able to get to Tamu when she was having a bad day and shut the others out. He and Tamu may have had different intersts but they too got along very well. Ari was always daring and couragious, the opposite of his shy younger brother. Still, Ari managed to maintain a good relationship with Radhi. He even was someone his younger brother looked up to. 

When Ari became a teen, he was very popular in the pride. It was then when many hyenas intruded their way into his father's lands. They began stealing food and tormenting lions. It became a problem and Ari was willing to help his father rid their home of the hyenas. He was in charge of leading a group of lions to scare them off, that was his first act of leadership. Ari was introduced to many females after that, his parents wanting to be a part of the decision of who he will wed. To create alliances, Akili was going to have his cubs marry one from another pride. Tamu was supposed to marry one from the Pride Lands, who from the beginning Alihana did not trust. She urged her sister to not trust the lion but Tamu, who did not get along with Alihana, would not listen. Alihana tried to convince her father to not allow the marriage but again she was ignored so she went to Ari, the one she always trusted. 

Together, the two worked together and did their best to expose Tamu's fiance for who he really was. Over helping their sister, the two became even closer. In the end, they did save their from falling into a horrible mariage. To make up for the lost alliance, Alihana was willing to marry someone from the Pride Lands. It was then when she met a lion she loved. Ari was able to save both his sisters, making everyone happy.
