Personality: Kinaya is very friendly and loves to be around others. She is always lookjing for attention but can be a bit clingy. She loves to see new things and is easily impressed. Kinaya is always up for an adventure. She's loyal to her friends and is very talented in her hunting skills.

History: Kinaya's parents were both rogue lions, traveling on their own and doing what they wanted it. Kinaya got along well with both of her parents. However, it was rather a lonely life for a cub. She had no one her age to play with and she desired companionship. She would often try to sneak off to find something new. 

Kinaya was still just a young cub when her parent's relationship to a wrong turn. They were constantly arguing and, finally, they split up. Kinaya's father left without a word and she was told to stay with her mother. Kinaya watched her mother become depressed after that. Since the day her father left, Kinaya began to dream of what real love would be like. She had a desire to go off on her own, making her own choices and possibly making a real friend. 

When she turned the age of a teenager, Kinaya told her mother about her true desires. Surprisingly, Kinaya's mother was on her daughter's side. She encouraged Kinaya to run off and live a new life, away from all her own mistakes. Kinaya took her mother's blessing and, after a heartfelt good bye, she left. 

She went on with her travels, enjoying living on her own. She liked having a new kind of freedom but was really looking for someone else to talk to. It was then when she met another lion, a male who was also drifting alone. Kinaya, being her friendly self, walked right up to the male and met him. His name was Akili, son of Simba and Kula. The two started talking about just about anything, but nothing important. When the topic came up, Akili explained that he was hated in the Pride Lands because he was not the queen's son but the product of a secret love between Simba and Kula. Now, he lives on his own and wants to start a new life. Kinaya thought it was just the perfect idea. She offered to help Akili in anyway she can. The two traveled together.

Soon, they found a great location to live and Akili decided that most of all, he wanted to have a pride where no one could be turned down. Kinaya was on his side the entire time, supporting him. They allowed anyone who wanted a home into thier pride. Soon, they had a new group of friends all living in peace. Akili became king and chose Kinaya as his queen. The two were young and in love, so she agreed. They planned their family and new life together. Life seemed perfect.
