General:

Name: Lekan

Breed: African Lion

Sex: Male

Generation: Kiara’s

Pride: Lekan’s Pride

Rank: Lord of the Southern Pridelands, Heir to Pride Rock

Characteristics:

Personality: Patient, fearless, yet quiet. Although he doesn't get himself into trouble, he often watches it happen. Lekan is however not afraid to say what he thinks is needed to be said, but also prefers to not talk. He's more of a doer than a thinker, but he waits for the right moment to do things. There is also a tinge of wanderlust in Lekan as well.

Talents/ Abilities: His attitude allows him to be a good hunter, even though it isn't his job to hunt.

Weaknesses: Lekan is quite a sucker for a pretty set of eyes, although he'll never admit it. Sadly, he is also sterile and cannot reproduce an heir, thus Kiara is given his throne.

Dreams: To find Simba’s killer.

Fears: War between the prides once more.

Motto: “Never think that waiting will make your obstacles grow smaller.”

Relations:

Parents: Simba (Mufasa X  Sarabi) x Nala (Mega X Sarafina)

Siblings: Kopa (older) and Kiara (younger)

Mate: Zuri

Rivals: Kopa, Kovu the Outlanders

History:

After Kopa was mysteriously “killed”, Simba and Nala tried again to have another cub and wallah, Lekan was born. Lekan didn't have much trouble as a child, and was often the one who watched his younger sister (who was aproximately 6-12 months younger than he) get into trouble. Lekan's younger years were also mostly spent with Sarabi, even since Kiara was born. Lekan didn't mind, because he got along just fine with his grandmother and the two had a very strong bond (also, Lekan takes after Sarabi's tawny coat color). When Kiara is about a year old (making Lekan 1.5 or 2 years old )and many months after she meets Kovu and has since then forgotten him; Lekan decides that he wants to leave the Pridelands to find his own way. Simba allows it, but makes Lekan agree to return one day and assume the throne.

Lekan leaves and becomes a rogue. Along the way he forms his own rogue pride made up of himself and the three lionesses Mkali, Kijana, and Zuri. He shows an interest in Zuri over the other two lionesses, and takes his small band back to the Pridelands to request a lordship from Simba. While in the Pridelands, Lekan gains a small piece of territory from Simba earning Lekan the title of Lord of the Southern Pridelands. Vitani decides to live in Lekan's pride, and goes with Lekan, Zuri, Mkali and Kijana to the Southern Pridelands.
