Personality: Funmanya always has the feeling that no one wants her. Because of her sister being favored over her, Funmanya thought her life was to prove her father she was just as good as her sister. Funmanya saw herself as a lesser lioness thinking her sister would get better things then her. Her love for Berko is forbidden as he's Manyara's future mate.

History:

Born as the youngest cub of King Mwenye and Queen Thema, Funmanya's twin sister Manyara was favored over her by their father as she looked like their late grandmother. Funmanya noticed the attention her sister got from their father and tried proving her father that she was just as good. But everytime Mwenye would ignore his youngest daughter or tell her to stay with her mother. So Funmanya stayed with her mother because she was the one to look at Funmanya. She learned hunting with her sister and the bond between the two got stronger. 

However after some years Manyara's betrothed, Berko, arrived in the pride and for Funmanya is was love at first sight. But she was forbidden to love him as he would marry Manyara. Funmanya was heartbroken by this and angry at her sister for getting everything she wants. Before the wedding started Manyara dissepeared and Mwenye acussed his mate of murder and killed her. Mwenye was left with no choice but to train Funmanya for future queen. But the only thing she wants is Berko.

Relation to TLK: Her sister is the mate of Simba's brother.
