Personality: Thema is a wise en noble queen who's loving towards, her cubs, her mate and her pridemembers. She has her calm moments but when someone touches her cubs she gets very angry. Thema treats both her daughters equally, unlike her mate.

History:

A few days after the queen of the Kilamaya Pride gave birth to the next heir, Prince Mwenye, a pridelioness gave birth to a female. The very same day the king and queen talked with the lioness and the three decided that the two cubs would be betrothed. So the lioness named her daughter Thema. During her youth Thema was trained in hunting which developed greatly when she became a young adult. During that time her mother learned her how to be a mother towards her cubs. It was then that she and Mwenye were told that they would soon get married. At first Thema didn't like the idea as she just saw Mwenye as a snobby lion who still acted like a cub. Mwenye was advised to act like an adult if he wanted to win Thema's heart. After some weeks Thema noticed that he had changed and fell for him. It didn't took long before the two eventually married and that Thema was pregnant with the future heir.

Thema was presured by her mate with his wish of having a male heir. Thema feared what would happen if the cub wasn't male. On a sunny day she gave birth to two females much to Mwenye's displeasure. But when Thema showed him the cubs he made the oldest female his future heir, as she looked like his late mother. As her daughters grew Thema noticed her mate favored Manyara over Funmanya. Thema herself treated both her daughters egually. She knew Manyara didn't wanted to become queen eventually when she heared she had to marry a lion she never met. Thema told her mate that he was going to ruing their daughter's life but he told her that didn't have anything to say as she was only royal by marriage. When Manyara's betrothed, Berko, arrived in the pride she noticed her youngest daughter, Funmanya, had a crush on the lion but wasn't allowed to marry him as he was Manyara's future mate. 

Before the marriage started Thema helped her daughter escape the pride and start her life as a rogue. However Mwenye didn't believe it and assumed his mate had killed their daughter, so he accused Thema of murder and killed her.

Relation to TLK: Her daughter is the sister-in-law of Simba.
