Malka had been sneaking off with a unidentified lioness for over half a year when Kiara had caught him She made a promise to keep it a secret in exchange for a future favor that was not specified at the time. A few months later Kiara was having Kovus first litter. the two were both still borns. Malka was just coming back with a small shy she-cub who had just been born the mother had no need for an extra mouth to feed and had left her. Kiara upon being the first one seeing  the cub requested the favor be the possession of the cub as she could raise it and Malka could see his  daughter grow up. Kiara named her Bakari because of the Promise that was made. He is waiting for the right time to tell her.
