Personality:As a cub,he was always quiet and much of a loner.He never liked to interact with other lions.He was obsessed with power,and he was a right bully whenever he didn't get his way. He was harsh and snappy,and it appears he's always in a bad mood. He never likes loud noises,so he keeps himself locked away from the others. He has a mysterious charm to him,and can be quite sarcastic. As an adult,he's still very sarcastic and smart.He's sly and sneaky,and very cunning.He doesn't like flirts or anyone who tries too hard to love.He doesn't even like the idea of love,believing it'll get in his way. He can get jealous very easily and is quite competitive,and is always very territoral.

History

To please her power hungry king and mate,Zira left the Pridelands for a short time in order to find a strong male who would produce her a strong,healthy male cub.Her last two cubs,who were Scar's own cubs,were either weak and scrawny or female.On her journey to the vast unknown,she met a handsome,strong young golden lion named Tojo. After convincing him that she loved him,she mated with him and returned to the Pridelands carrying a cub.Zira promised Scar that this time,the cub will be strong,healthy,and male.

Before they could be happy,Simba returned and ruined everything for them. Simba forced Zira and her cubs into exile for being followers of Scar.They were never to return to the Pridelands again and if they did,they'd have to owe up a pound of flesh.

Having two very young cubs and being pregnant didn't work well in Zira's favor.She had no choice but to flee the Pridelands.She settled in the Outlands,though the food and water were more scarce there and she worried her cub wouldn't make it in the end,and she'd disappoint her dead mate even more than she believed she already had.

Thankfully,Zira gave birth to a healthy,strong,male cub who had a beautiful golden colored coat.He was outlanderish,but also pridelanderish. Either way,it made no difference.He was healthy and strong and that's all that mattered. She named him Badru,and he became the center of all her attention.

She trained the cub constantly,so his personality turned out to be much like his crazy mother's.He was completely focused on his goal; take down the King of the Pridelands,Simba,and rule over the Pridelands like his mother's mate,Scar used to. Even though he wasn't Scar's son,Zira could see that Badru resembled him greatly.He had the smarts,the sarcastic tongue,the sneaky mind and the harsh attitude.Only thing he had that Scar didn't; strength.

Being Tojo's son,Badru got some of his fathers power and this aided Zira's ambition. She trained him every day,often telling him how proud of him she was,and that he was the best son she'd ever had.Badru enjoyed all of this great attention,but then... An unwanted guest appeared.

Zira found Kovu and instantly,she made him her new golden child. And Badru knew why.It was simply because he was more outlandish,and that he resembled Scar way more than he did,even though he was defiantly better than Kovu. All the attention Badru got from his mother dropped and went to a cub who wasn't even blood related to him. He hated this and got fed up.Eventually,he took off.

He wandered quite close to the Pridelands border and hadn't realized that he had just crossed it.He ran into a large lions leg,which was a great surprise. This lion resembled Badru greatly; he had the golden pelt and the same blue eyes.Badru didn't know who he was,but the lion seemed to know him. Call it a father's way if you will,but somehow,the lion knew exactly that Badru was his son.Badru was shocked; he found his own father!

Tojo was delighted that he had found his son. Badru wasn't exactly so happy to see his real father,but he went with him anyways,not wanting to return to his horrible mother. The only thing he feared was King Simba. Badru was simply a cub; he couldn't take on a full grown King!

Tojo didn't live in Pride Rock. He lived in the Pridelands in a cave not too far from Pride Rock.It was quiet and cozy,something Badru was found of. He spent the next few years of his life,having to fit in and get to know the place all over again.

The other cubs didn't like him.They thought he was a weirdo for looking so outlandish,despite having the common golden coat.Badru hated them all,especially little Princess Kiara. She seemed to like following him around and annoying the living heck out of him. Kopa and him never got along; they became fast rivals and constantly fought.

The rivalry never ended,even as they grew into their teen years. It was such a hard time for the both of them. The fighting between them became worse,and now that they were older,they could do a lot more damage,even it was just words. Badru once threatened to kill Kopa,and the young Prince actually felt intimidated. Badru wasn't one to just spit out threats; he meant what he said. The land quickly learned that getting on his bad side meant trouble.He was a bully and did horrible things to those who get on his last nerve.

One day,Kopa suddenly vanished. There was no trace as to where the teenaged Prince could be,and of course,Simba instantly stormed to Badru who had been casually lying in his cave,not bothered to do much. Simba roared at him to demand where his son was.Badru at this stage hadn't a clue what the King was talking about. He kept asking what he was talking about but Simba was firm. Badru just yelled that even though he wanted Kopa to go and die,he wouldn't have done anything without planning it out. That,and the Prince's blood wasn't scented in the air so there was no way Badru could of killed him or anything. So... Where could he be?

Badru was fuming by the time Simba left,and to make matters worse,Tojo arrived to give his son a piece of his mind. The golden pridelander lion went to meet his idiotic son and hit him without saying a thing.He didn't use claws though,as he didn't really wish to hurt his only son.Badru was surprised but kept his cool for now. Tojo wasted no time and he demanded the truth from Badru. The young teenaged lion was furious at how he was still getting blamed for it.He yelled his loudest that he had nothing to do with Kopa's disappearance.Tojo wouldn't believe him and roared at him again.Then,Badru lost it completely.

He attacked Tojo,taking him by surprise.He fought with superior strength,having been trained as a cub.In that moment,because of his anger,Badru went too far and did much more than just hurt his father.He killed him.

Realizing that nobody would believe his innocence now,and that the blood was on his paws,Badru fled back to the Outlands.
