Name: Takata (meaning 'clean' or 'pure')

Personality: Takata is as his name suggests, pure of heart. He is always ready with a smile or a kind word and some would say he is his grandfather, Tarik, reborn. He is everything Kamaji wanted in a future heir and so tends to somewhat spoil the boy but thanfully Adla sees to it that it won't go to his head. 

History: Takata is one of the cubs Adla was pregnant with when she was attacked by Naanda. The insane lioness tried to claw Takata and his unborn siblings from his mother's belly to prevent any male heirs who could ruin her plans. Thankfully for the cubs, Naanda was caught in the act by Kamaji and was killed.

Takata and his siblings were born a few months later and it was a dying Neema who named him. The elderly lioness took a single look at the newborn and called him 'Taka', her nearly blind eyes mistaking him for her long departed brother. Kamaji and Adla wanted to keep the name, but fearing the stigma of Scar's birthname. chose to edit it and Taka became Takata.

It was intended for Takata (as the first born cub of that litter) to be Kamaji's new heir as Obi was still missing and Aida had been sent to the Kilima Pride to fulfil her brother's broken betrothal. However, no one expected Obi to return and it wasn't decided whether Obi would reassume the title of Crown Prince or would Takata take his place.
