Personality: Asante is more the shy one of Mufasa and Sarabi's cubs. He loves staying with his mother and playing with his sister. During Scar's reign he feared he would be killed. He was always teased by the hyena's and was always their favorite cub to whipe across the floor. When he's an adult he still has his shy moment, but only around females. He always listens to Kaya.

History:

Asante was the last cub born to Mufasa and Sarabi. His older brother Simba was chosen as the future king of the Pridelands. Mufasa and Sarabi decided that Asante and Kaya could choose for themselves when their adults. Growing up alongside his older siblings but when they were playing with friends, Asante would mostly stay with his mother or father. When Simba askted him to go to the Elephant Graveyard with him and Nala, Asante agreed. Until their meeting with the hyena's Asante was having fun but when he, Simba and Nala got chased by Shenzi, Banzai and Ed, Asante knew he wouldn't get out alive. After being saved by his father, Asante promised to never go on an adventure with his brother ever again.

After Mufasa and Simba's sudden "deaths" Scar took over the throne and ruled the Pridelands with an iron paw. Sarabi feared for her cubs lives but Scar promised her that he would keep them alive but that Asante should leave the pride when his mane were growing. Sarabi agreed and so her cubs were save. However Asante was always teased by the hyena's being whiped across the floor and always laughed at. He knew the hyena's would get him when they had the chance. Sarabi went to Scar to tell the hyena's to leave her son alone. However the hyena's continued their daily activity. When he became older he got sick of being those dogs playtoy and showed them who's boss. Angerd by his actions Scar threatend to kill him but Sarabi stopped him, telling him they had a deal.

When his mane soon started to grow Asante knew he would have to leave the pride soon. The day came and Asante bid goodbye to his mother, his sister and the other pridemembers who were still loyal to real king. Asante was brought to the border of the Pridelands, along with Mheetu, by the hyena's so that Scar would be sure that they were out off the pride. Alone and hungry, the two searghed for food but the two hadn't had food for a few days and where to weak to hunt. But luck was on their side as a young female passed them and offerd to hunt for them. Thankfull for what she did for them they askted the lioness to stay with them. The lioness agreed and so Asante met his first crush, Manyara. As time past Asante grew more and more in love with her until one day he decided to confess his feelings. Asante was shocked as Manyara told him that she felt the same thing about him and the two became mates. 

Some time later they crossed paths with Kaya who told them that Simba had returned to the pride and taken over the throne. Asante went back to Pride Rock with Mheetu and Manyara and was delighted to reunite with his brother and pridemembers. However, after the celebration they held for Simba's returning Asante told them that he had decided to be a rogue. Simba accepted his brother's choice even though he wanted him to stay in the pride.
