Kaskazi is a soft, furry tannish-cream colored lioness with an orange-tint pelt and freckles on , darkish brown nose and bright green eyes. Kaskazi is convivial, bubbly, optimistic, likable, caring, polite and kind. Kazi can also be a crybaby and hypersensitive when she was a cub. Kazi rarely got to chance play as a cub, due to Scar/Taka being overprotective of Kazi when she was a cub. Along with Simba, Kaskazi and her siblings; Kiini, Medani and Jennifer had to leave the pridelands, because Scar said so. She met Timon and Pumbaa, Kaskazi slowly develops a secret crush on Pumbaa, even though he is a warthog. Later, Kaskazi and Mheetu have 4 cubs named: Upepo, Mwiba, Babu and Vema, then later, Kazi gave birth to Muziki and Jusi. Later Upepo has cubs with Digger (N'gora) named: Laini, Dhoruba, Shupavu, Kikadi and Nguruwe, whom are Kaskazi and Mheetu's grandkids.
