Name:Safi
Meaning:Pure
Age:Various
Parents:Unknown outlanders

Personality:Like his name states,Safi is a pure lion with a golden heart. He's very intelligent, but he's also very shy and quiet. He prefers to keep to himself, often he'd go on long walks just to feel calm and be able to think quietly. He's not very good with other lions. He'd normally get all timid and shy,not speaking too much.He has very little confidence in himself, believing he wasn't exactly good for anything. However,he won't hesitate to help somebody if they needed any kind of help.He may not realize it but he's quite powerful when it counts the most. He's normally quiet in a crowd, but if he wants to,he'll make sure his opinions heard. He's loyal and lovable to those he truely trusts and holds dear.

History:Safi was born into a very weak and hungry family. He was the oldest of 4 and was, luckily, the strongest. He learned from a very young age how to fend for himself. His father, unfortunately, died from starvation, and his mother wasn't far from death herself.Safi managed to nick some food for her, eating the scraps himself. It was heartbreaking but his siblings also suffered the same fate as their father, but luckily Safi and his mother survived the cruelty of starvation.
His mother never once explained the rules of their kingdom to him,and why they didn't get food like everybody else.It was only when he overheard some animals talking when he understood the harsh truth.
The king only fed those who had light colored fur!
It was horrible to hear, but it was even more horrible to accept. His mother said one day that they would leave the pride and start a new.He argeed to this, not once liking their king anymore.
A few days later the two were traveling, deciding to head towards the Pridelands. Safi was a clever boy,as his mother, but he was also paranoid of those around him.He was now stuck with the idea that others would judge him for the color of his fur.It was horrid. He was terrified if the king was like their old one...
Thankfully,he wasn't at all. King Simba welcomed them with open paws.He apparently knew Safi's mother and was happy to see her once again. Safi settled into the pride very quickly and grew up there. He noticed it when this young lioness came to stay for a while at the pride and that Simba looked after her. Her name,he found out,was Ukarimu. He couldn't help but think she was beautiful.
She left the pride soon enough and Safi felt heartbroken, but went on with a positive smile. Now an adult,he one day took a walk beside a flowing river when he heard a scream for help. He saw a lioness in the water, clinging desperately to a rock, but her strength was slipping. Without hesitation,Safi dove in quickly to rescue her and brought her to shore. He asked her what her name was and he was shocked at the answer.
Her name was Ukarimu.
He instantly became shy and nervous around her. She was nice to him and was very grateful for him saving her life.He replied with a shy smile and a small nod.
They started to hang out and got to know each other more. Safi knew by now that he had fallen for her.She was stunningly beautiful and he loved her personanality. But he was far too afraid to admit his feelings...
One day they went for a walk, when Ukarimu asked why he was acting strange. Then and there he blurted out his feelings and turned away, shy and ashamed. Ukarimu, surprised, smiled and put her paw on his gently, nuzzling him.
It was a great shock but he reacted well, nuzzling her back. It wasn't long until the two were officially mates, and they lived very happily together.
