Personality: Aminifu is a great believer in team spirit, and always loves to do things in large groups. She is, however, very loyal, and will not turn her back on one of her friends, especially not Nyonda. She does think, though, that Nyonda can be immature sometimes, and, like their mothers before them, often come to blows regarding sensibility.

Bio:

Aminifu was born several days after her cousin, Nyonda, and several days after her aunt Malaika was torn from the living world after the birth went wrong. Her special relationship with Nyonda was proven from the minute they were introduced, as suckling babes, when Nyonda's father Ndege came running to Sheria, begging for his daughter to be raised alongside her cousin. Sheria did not decline; she was in a state of greif over her beloved sister and would do anything to make sure she lived on through her children. 

As young cubs, Aminifu and Nyonda are inseperable, and do everything together. Nyonda believes her mother died in a hunting accident while she was being cared for by Sheria, so she is still innocent to the tragic story of her birth. No, their lives are untainted by the past, and so they make the most of the present, playing together, hunting together, even sleeping side-by-side. There's nothing that can break them apart. A third friend is added to the group when Nyonda introduces Aminifu to her older brother, Huruma, who takes a shine to his little cousin. The three really make the best team. 

When they reach adolescence, though, they start to go their seperate ways, breaking off from each other to do their own thing. Aminifu wants nothing more than to be a Lead Huntress, so she is trained by the finest huntresses alongside Huruma's mate Asha, who also strives to be a great huntress. Nyonda, on the other hand, would like to have a say in the government of the pride, and so visits Gakwa often, learning how to be an advisor to the monarchs of the pride. Aminifu is hurt by the sudden separation, but knows she can do nothing about it.

As young adults, Aminifu and Nyonda are able to return to their friendship, but now Aminifu faces a different dilemma. Nyonda is worried about Aminifu's aspirations to become a huntress, as she thinks her mother was killed while hunting. So Aminifu takes her dear cousin aside and tells her the truth, and Nyonda is shattered. Aminifu thinks she won't see her again when she runs off, weeping, but persists and tries to get to her, so she can comfort her. It takes some doing, but Aminifu finally manages to console Nyonda. She's worried about the change in her, but it's to be expected.

As an older lioness, Aminifu becomes one of two Lead Huntresses, and is well loved throughout the pride.
