Personality: Nyonda inherits her child-like innocence from her mother and grandmother, and is very playful and affectionate. She is, however, very sensitive and is very easy to upset. It is because of this that she rarely talks to anyone, but she likes to socialise, which makes her character a very conflicted one.

Bio:

Nyonda's birth is a tragic one.

The moment she breathes her first, her mother breathes her last. This leaves her family in a state of depression, and her aunt, who takes her into her care to suckle alongside Aminifu, her daughter, refuses to let anyone see her, no matter who. Nyonda grows up in her aunts care, but sees her father and brother often.

Huruma is a great brother, and he tells her lots of stories about her mother when he was younger. Being an adolescent, though, means that he rarely has time for her, and so Nyonda spends most of her time with Aminifu. Aminifu is like a sister to her, and they are rarely seen apart. 

When she is an adolescent, she learns the true story of her mother's death, after believing that she was killed during a hunting trip a few days after Nyonda's birth. The young lioness is traumatised. It was her fault that Malaika died? She falls into a deep depression after this, allowing no-one, not even Aminifu, to see her. Soon after, Huruma leaves the territory, which leaves Nyonda even more distressed.

She becomes a high ranking huntess, after her great-uncle Ni notices her current state. He believes that this will allow her to open up a bit more, and to embrace life as it is, not as is was. It helps Nyonda recover, but not fully.

As a young lioness, she is frequently visited by Huruma, which keeps her from falling back into her misery. That, and her relationship with Aminifu, keeps her strong.
