Personality: Timira is a lioness who was born and raised knowing her duty. She does what she is told when she is told and doesn't question her place. She knew that she was destined to be queen but she doesn't seem to care that the chance was taken away from her. Many think her emotionless, cold and indifferent and she would let them believe her so because the only person who ever truly made her smile was Tanabi and he is dead. She doesn't mourn her loss of status, she mourns the loss of the only lion she believed she could have loved.

History: Timira's birth was nothing special and she would have remained a normal pride-sister if not for King Simba sending word to Queen Chaniya requesting a betrothal for the young prince, Tanabi.

At that time, Chaniya's own daughter Bahati was very young and she would need to stay at the Oasis Pride to be it's future leader and Chaniya didn't want to give up her orphaned niece, Akosua, so soon after losing her sister. So, logically, Chaniya sought out a young female from within the pride's ranks to send to the Pridelands. It was an honor that the Oasis Pride had never known and Chaniya knew there were worst places for a lioness to be than the Pridelands.

Chaniya chose a very young Timira to be Tanabi's betrothed and she and her mother were sent to the Pridelands.

Timira and Tanabi were not especially close as cubs, the young prince prefered the company of Chike and Rickon over her but they were not strangers either. Timira was fond of the prince and he seemed fond of her too, he certainly never needed to be forced into her company. Timira developed a crush on him fairly quickly and although she knew she would be Queen, she never wanted it. Timira only wanted Tanabi.

And then Tanabi and Rickon disappeared, King Simba's mother was dead by Zira's paw and everyone assumed that the two cubs were her victims as well.

Timira fell into a state of depression, all happiness seemed to drain from her leaving her as an emotionless shell of the cub she used to be. Yakini worried for her daughter fiercely and although her betrothal ended with Tanabi's death, Simba allowed the two to remain in the Pridelands. Timira couldn't care whether she was in the Pridelands or not. Her only happiness had been snatched from her and there was nothing she could do to get it back.
