History: Soni was another attempt at the perfect heir for Scar. His mother was a loyal follower to Scar, and therefor, when the outlanders were banished after Simba reclaimed his heritage, he was slated to be exiled along with his mother. Having heard of his future in exile when word spread throughout Scar's followers, he didn't want to go! The Pridelands were better now more than when Scar was ruling. And he wanted to stay! He'd remembered the harsh times as a very young cub and his mother having a hard time trying to find food or water. Plus, he was constantly picked on by Kali, an outlander cub his age. He never liked her, for he always scared him half to death with her trickery and mean jokes. He wouldn't have missed her at all! He may be a cub frightened of moving leaves in the wind, but he's not as dumb as he looks. The day the Outlanders were banished, Soni hid from his birth mother and lied to the Pridelanders that he was an orphan. Though Simba was suspicious of his ruse, the lionesses couldn't help but fawn over the scruffy dusty cub that won over their hearts. He'd easily found himself an adoptive mother that would be his ticket to staying. Though he was now a Pridelander, he still found himself wondering how his own birth mother was doing without him. When he wasn't busy playing with the other cubs of the pride, he often looked off to the horizon, wondering if his mother even missed him. Eventually his woes of missing her shifted when he remembered how harsh she was to him sometimes because he wasn't the chosen heir. And how she use to call him a waste of her time. Remembering his past, he wasn't too sorry for lying about his heritage.
