Personality: Mchanga has the temper to match her sister's namesake, and Stars help anyone who crosses her when she's in a mood. She hates Chanzo and Nyigu for having the power that she will never grasp, and she plots whenever she can to bring them down.

Bio:

As the youngest of Kaaroonet's cubs, Mchanga knows she will never grasp any hint of power. She learns religion from her mother, and studies to become a priestess. She is very smart and conniving, but despite her smarts, she always sticks to Ukali for protection and for the sake of company.

When she is an older lioness, she hears that Chanzo is dead and Nyigu is High Priest. She is overjoyed at this, but later learns that Chanzo was not killed, and Nyigu is banished. This plummets her mood to the ground, and she seperates herself from the pride for a while.

When Chanzo becomes High Priest and Nyigu is invited back to the pride, Mchanga finally gets the idea to kill her eldest brother. Just when she gets the chance, Chanzo and Nyigu leave for the Pridelands to help in the campaign for independence. Later on, Nyigu comes back as King of the Northlands, while Chanzo still reigns as High Priest. This irks Mchanga, but she continues with her plots. 

Later on, when Chanzo is mates with Kali and has four cubs, Mchanga sneaks into his chambers at night and slaughters him in his sleep. She then leaves, safe in the knowledge that she will never be discovered.

She meets a young wanderer named Kesho, who she becomes mates with. She gives him two daughters, Jana and Njama, and dies in her sleep when she becomes old.
