Bio:

Ukali is the third cub to be born to Kaaroonet and Shani, and is doted upon by her mother. She doesn't see a lot of her father - as High Priest, he is often busy, but that doesn't bother Ukali.

When she is an older cub, she starts to take note of Nyigu's constant belittlement of Chanzo. This bothers her, as Chanzo has done nothing wrong to Nyigu. She shrugs it off as jealousy, and will often tell her older brother off about it.

When Chanzo is High Priest, and Nyigu is banished for attempted murder, Ukali becomes a priestess under Chanzo, and enjoys her life greatly. In fact, once she is familiar with the pride's teachings, she decides to talk to Chanzo about letting Nyigu return to the pride. Chanzo listens to her and invites his brother back to the pride. Later, when the two of them come back with an independant land on their paws, and she is shocked to hear the Nyigu is King, ruling beside Chanzo.

She is horrified when Chanzo is murdered in his sleep, leaving behind a devoted wife and four cubs. When Nyigu ascends to High Priest, Ukali is forced to step in as Regent until Jiwe, the second-born of Chanzo's cubs, can step in and take her place as Queen, ruling under Unyasi, her elder sister and future High Priestess.

When Jiwe takes her place and Ukali can abdicate, she dies in her sleep, safe in the knowledge that Chanzo's legacy will live on and the kingdom is safe.
