Personality:Bahati is a tomboyish girl,and she's normally real tough to others.Though,if you get to know her properly,she'll show her soft side eventually.She has difficulty trusting others due to her past,but,she knows whether or not she should trust someone.She has a very good sense of danger,and will easily detect someone lying to them or if someone was a bad character.She tends to act boyish a lot,and rarely ever acts like a lioness.However,she's a big dreamer,and tends to daydream a lot,which normally annoys other lions/lionesses.Despite her tough,bad-girl look,she's a real softie at heart and always loves to take part in anything.She's high spirited,and some people say that she's like water; Powerful one minute,calm and beautiful the next.She has a very,very poor sense of directions and can easily get lost if not guided.She protests strongly against this,believing that her direction sense was just perfect and they should credit her more.This though,is a complete lie,not that she cares of course.

History:Bahati was born alone near a flowing river.Her mother and father had left her,as they didn't think they could become good parents anyways.Since birth,Bahati always had a connection to the water.Even when some lionesses,who found her,tried to take her away,she cried.She wanted to be beside the river for longer,but the cub was too weak and needed proper care.The lionesses took her to Pride Rock where King Mufasa told the lionesses to look after the cub.Bahati became the center of attention,something she loved.

As she grew into her cubhood,Bahati normally played with the male cubs.She didn't really like the girls,they  annoyed her too much.At first,when she met Mheetu,she thought he was pretty... Girlish.She didn't really see him as the tough type,and for that,she ignored him.In fact,as cubs the two were number one rivals.They never got along and constantly argued with each other.The other cubs though found this funny,and they even teased the two about having crushes on each other.Of course,the two denied this.But one secretly wished that something positive about them could happen... 

When Mufasa and Simba died and Scar took over,Bahati knew something bad was going to happen.For a while she was upset over this horrid news,and only one lion cub would help her... Mheetu.He comforted her throughout all of this,despite their past of being rivals.At that moment,Bahati couldn't help but feel something strange beginning to happen between her and Mheetu.She blushed and smiled,thanking him.Though surprised,Mheetu gave a cheeky grin in response.That one moment between the two was something they'd never ever forget.It was a perfect,sweet moment...

And then that moment ended.

Scar declared that all male cubs were a threat to him.He said that,when they grow up,they'll take over his throne and become the king.He was not going to allow such a thing to happen,not at all.He  then did the one thing Bahati prayed wouldn't happen... He exiled all of the male cubs.

Heart broken,Bahati had to say goodbye to Mheetu and her friends,though she was mainly upset because Mheetu had to leave.It wasn't fair,just as they had become so close... They were torn apart.It hurt so much that Bahati refused to eat for some time.If it weren't for Nala who comforted her throughout this whole thing,Bahati would have gone insane.

As the years went by,Bahati's beauty turned into something even greater.She was absolutely stunning,and  her personality shone even more.She however didn't feel as happy as she was when she was a small cub.Before he came along and mucked things up.She just wished that Mheetu and the others would return... She missed them loads.Her days seemed dark,even though on the outside she was her normal self.Though whenever she was alone,she cried over the fact that everything was wrong.She wanted things to go back to the way they were.The rivers had even dried up,which was another thing she hated.Things just seemed so wrong...

And then,Simba arrived.Delighted,Bahati took part in taking down Scar and his hyena's.Though everything was brilliant,she still wished that Mheetu would appear.When Simba became King,she asked him about them returning.He said he'd send out a search party for them and she was delighted.Being her typical self,she couldn't wait for the search party to start and set out on her own to find Mheetu.Over the years,she had finally realized that feeling...

It was love.

At first,she couldn't believe it.She had fallen for her number one rival,but then again,that rival made her feel special like nobody else could.Even if he refused,she wanted to tell him how she felt.She wouldn't be  able to rest until she told him that she loved him.Maybe,just maybe,he felt the same and they became mates... The thought made Bahati blush and stumble.Her terrible sense of direction lead to her going near a powerful,fast flowing river somewhere outside the PrideLands.She stayed there for a while,as she hadn't seen water in so long.It was there and then that she heard a cry for help and she saw a pale lion clinging to a rock in the river.

Startled,Bahati didn't think and she dived in.Despite the river's fast flowing current,her excellent swimming skills came in very handy with this.She rescued the lion who had lost consciousness at this point,and dragged him to shore.She found a small cave near the river,and brought him there to rest.

When he woke up,he didn't seem to know who she was or why she was there at all.Bahati explained that he had somehow fallen into the river and was knocked out.He understood this,but then he said that he didn't need her help.The two began to argue,and then something clicked.They stopped arguing and their eyes widened.Bahati finally realized who this lion was...

It was Mheetu!

Mheetu was shocked to see Bahati again,but he was delighted.Bahati rushed forward and buried her head in Mheetu's puffy mane,crying tears of joy.It had been so long,and she hadn't seen him in ages! Mheetu looked over Bahati and couldn't help but notice how beautiful she had become... It almost took his breath away.Bahati looked at Mheetu and asked him hundreds of questions; where he'd been,what he'd done,ect. Mheetu gladly answered his friend's question,and then a strange question took him by surprise.Bahati asked him did he have a mate,and she looked awkward and upset over the question.

Mheetu took his time to answer,and finally he said it.He said that he did have a mate. The very words made Bahati go silent and she wished she had never asked the question.Mheetu sensed that she had suddenly changed moods,and was slightly hurt when she said she had to go hunting.He knew it was a lie,but didn't stop her from going.

Bahati ran off,tears welling up and finally spilling from her eyes.She collapsed somewhere,sobbing over the fact that she was too late.He had a mate... how could she possibly confess her love to him now?! Everything was ruined... absoluetely everything.Her heart was broken into pieces for the second time.What could she possibly do now...

After she stopped crying,she remembered that she could still be around Mheetu,and she had to be happy for him.She may not be happy with her,but... at least he was happy.That was all that mattered to her.She hunted some meat and brought it back to Mheetu,giving him most of it and eating some herself.She asked what his mate was like and he spoke happily about how beautiful and great she was.Bahati's heart sank,but she grinned on the outside.

She offered Mheetu to come back to Pride Rock and he said he would,but he just had to see if his mate would like to as well.Bahati accepted this,despite her feelings about him having a mate.She waited at the cave for a day,and he came back with his mate who frowned upon seeing Bahati,who was confused by her sudden coldness.Mheetu didn't seem to notice anything strange and they went back to Pride Rock,where Nala was delighted to see her brother back again.

As the days passed,Bahati began to realize that Mheetu's mate hated her,the reason she was uncertain of.Soon enough,things got worse and when Mheetu wasn't around,his mate began to bully poor Bahati,as if she hadn't been through enough.She nver spoke a word about this to Mheetu,not wanting to make things complicated.She got bullied a lot,but kept quiet.She wondered why Mheetu was with such a cruel lioness.It made no sense...

It wasn't until Mheetu's mate had started to phycially hurt her when Mheetu found out about all of this.He was furious at his mate and told her that he never wanted to see her again.His mate tried to explain,but Mheetu wouldn't hear it.He was outraged that his best friend had been hurt by his so called mate.Once she left,Mheetu asked Bahati was she alright.She simply nodded and seemed upset.He asked why and she said because she made him lose a mate.Mheetu shook his head and surprisingly nuzzled her.

It was then that Bahati confessed her love for Mheetu.It was an accident that she said it,but she was glad that she did,for he grinned and told her he loved her too.Finally happy,Bahati and Mheetu became mates.The two lived on happily,and perhaps there's some little cubs in their future...
