Personality:Uru is a lot like her ancestor Uru,and also has a bit of Kiara and Kovu in her too.She's wise,collected but has a sharp tongue and a bad temper.She's quick to judge and also has a bad way of solving problems.She prefers to deal with things herself,believing others would mess things up even more.However,she's brave and won't ever hesitate to jump in to save someone,even if it means risking her life.She's very boyish,and hates girlish stuff.She's true to her word though,and won't ever break a promise even if it kills her.She's very reliable and has a clear mind.She despises lions who think they're 'all that',knowing that none of them would be good for her.She doesn't believe in love,thinking she's too hideous for any lion to possibly love her.And besides,as future Queen of the Pridelands,she's 'too busy'.Love isn't in her mind too much,but when she's alone she may think on it.She's a very tough girl and refuses to cry in front of someone.She's stronger than that and she's also very clever.In all honesty,Uru would be a very hard lioness to beat in a fair fight.She's quick to attack and is light on her feet; a dangerous combo.

History:Uru is the first born to Kiara and Kovu.Instantly,some of the older lionesses of the pride suggested the name Uru to honour their long deceased Queen Uru,whom they loved so much.Kiara and Kovu loved this idea,and thus Uru came to be her name.Rafiki blessed and gave the cub her presentation,and told the two parents that this one cub would play a very important role in the history of the Pridelands.Kiara and Kovu,though confused,were happy by this piece of news.

During her cub years,Uru was a huge daddy's girl.She always played with her dad and asked him everything.Despite this,she had a very good relationship with her mother too.Though,she got pretty lonely being the only child.And so,she was thrilled to hear she'd have another little brother or sister soon.It was a very happy time for the young cub.She wouldn't forget it at all.

When her brother arrived,she suggested the name Kane.Her parents liked it and agreed,naming the cub Kane as she suggested.This made Uru even happier to know that she named her little brother,the one she'd care for always.The moments in those times were perfect... and then it all changed.

Some cubs continued to bully Kane,saying mean things to him.Uru told him to sort it out himself but he never did.One day though,Kane came back with a bloody shoulder.Those cubs went too far,and this made Uru very mad.She went down to them and she actually beat them up,saying they should leave him alone or else.The cubs' parents got angry at this,and one lion slashed at Uru's eye,telling her she was a disgrace to the Pridelands.Uru never forgot this,she couldn't now that a scar had formed.Kovu,angered that his daughter had a scar like his,banished the lion.

After that,Uru became slightly colder.This didn't last too long though,as Kane told her what she was doing.Disgusted,Uru changed her ways immediately.She did though become a lot,lot tougher.She never cried,and she never fought unfairly.Kiara was relieved that her daughter didn't turn evil due to the scar she got,and Simba was delighted too.

Uru became a very famous lioness in the Pridelands.Not because she was royalty,but because of her personality and fair ways.Kane even admitted that he was happy to be her brother.She truly was an amazing lioness.She tried hard to become the very best,and even admitted at times that she wasn't,but will be.Her dream was to become the Pridelands most remembered Queen,like her ancestor Uru whom she was named after.She asked around what Queen Uru was actually like,and they replied with 'she was like you.'

This made Uru quite happy,knowing she was named and is like the deceased Queen.She swore,that even if she had to break all the rules of being Queen,that she would make her ancestor as proud as possible.However,one day she was discouraged as her Father gave out to her for being mean to a few lions.

Uru,upset,ran away from the Pridelands.Her dream was crushed into pieces.As she cried in a cave,she heard a gentle but firm voice tell her to stop her pointless tears and to never give up.It was the deceased Queen Uru in a ghost form.Uru was shocked to see such a thing.The Queen spoke softly to her,telling her that even though her father was harsh,he simply wanted her to be the best.She also told the young lioness that she would watch over her as she achieved her goal.Uru,finding new courage to do what she wanted,agreed to keep trying.She thanked the Queen,and returned to the Pridelands.

When she arrived,she was saddened to hear that her Grandfather Simba had passed away.Kovu and Kiara though were relieved to see Uru unharmed and back.Uru promised them to never ever worry them as she had done.Knowing she'd never break her word,the two parents accepted this and everyone moved on.

Each day,Uru could feel the Queen watching over her,and whenever she became upset or angry,the Queen Uru would give her advice and this always cheered up the young Uru.Things looked up and her days brightened.She knew it in her heart that she was on her way to becoming the greatest Queen in history.She could feel it....
