Takota was born in The Pride Lands. His mother helped Simba and Nala to fight Zira and the Outlanders. Takota grew up and left Kovu's Kingdom to return to his grandfather, Obbler's kingdom, where he was reunited with his family.

When most troubles were over, Takota enjoyed giving and helping the elderly, he liked to hunt for them.

He once ran into some hyenas, one who name was Skriek who were surrounding a cub. Takota's size scared them and they ran off. Later in life Takota found a lioness called Sheria, he took her to Jet and Jafiya's pride and they became mates.

Takota was feared due to his large size.

Relation to TLK: The pride he is in "The Isu Keeney Pride" teamed up with the Pridelanders to fight against Obblers. He once encountered Shriek.
