Bio:

When Baridi is born, the entire pride sees her as an oddity, for her dark pelt. This is because her father, a wandering rogue (possibly far away from the Pridelands by now) was of a dark pelt, and his father before him.

Simba sees fit to betroth her to Kopa, his son and heir, because of her difference. Baridi's mother agrees, and soon, Baridi and Kopa are firm friends.

When Kopa is said to have gone missing, perhaps dead, at the paws of Zira, Baridi is distraught and refuses to do little more than mope around the cave for a few days after. In his absence, she loses her fun-loving, kind spark that made her who she was.

After Kiara and Kovu take the throne, Baridi leaves, refusing to accept anything that reminds her of Kopa into her life. It is then that she meets two traveling rogues. The dark one with the red mane goes by the name of Iba. But the light one with the pale brown mane is the one that gives her life again.

His name is Kopa.

The three return to Pride Rock and when Kopa takes his rightful place as King, he chooses Baridi to be his queen. She accepts, her happiness and light-heartedness restored once more.

She later gives birth to Kopa's three cubs, Anasikia, Mfalme and Nusura. Despite the fact that Mfalme, as the oldest male, should be the heir, Baridi and Kopa both agree that their firstborn, their daughter Anasikia should be heir.

Baridi soon notices that Anasikia is a very distant cub, and she takes her to see the aging Rafiki. Rafiki confirms that she is deaf, and Baridi and Kopa are horrified.

When their cubs are adolescents, Anasikia goes missing, far from the Pridelands. After about five weeks of search parties, Baridi manages to convince the stricken Kopa that she will not return. After finally accepting this, Baridi and Kopa name Mfalme as their heir.
