Bio:

Iba hardly remembers his childhood, a blur of past memories of death and running. All he rembers is having to fend for himself from adolescence. It is this that causes him to be so travel-friendly, and soon, he is here, there, all over the place.

When he first ventures upon a small valley near the Pridelands, he is shocked to find that it is inhabited by one lion and his prey. This lion goes by the name of Kopa, and he claims to be a prince that was driven from his home. Iba, curious, befriends him, and soon, the two are insperable.

When he and Kopa are adults, the pair hear word that the Pridelands are no longer at war with the Outsiders, and this sparks hope into Kope. Iba follows him back to his home, and meets the Queen there, Kiara. She is brave, charming and pretty, and Iba is horrified to find that she has a mate, the Prince-Consort Kovu. While Kopa is welcomed, Iba is threatened and at risk of being banished.

When Iba tells Kiara of his fears, she supports him and becomes a good friend to him. And when her throne is at risk from the rightful King, Kopa, taking over, he is her comfort, her shoulder to cry on. When Simba, Nala and the Pridelanders debate that Kopa should take over, Kiara and Iba take off, no longer needed at the Pridelands. Iba is then known as 'Iba, the Thief of Princesses', a title that does not bother him in the slightest.
