Personality:Afua is bubbly,very adventurous type of guy.He's usually smiling,and is always up to trouble.He's quick on his feet and no matter what,he always has a plan in mind.He's quick to back-talk anyone and will most likely challenge someone to a fight.He's usually hungry and complains a lot,but he's lovable little guy and many girls adore him.

History:Afua is the first born of Shauna and Kovu.He's a loud little monkey of a cub,and isn't exactly... 'king' material,but his parents loved him anyway.He looked a lot like Kovu,only a few resemblences to his mother.His personality is a mix of his parents.Afua is a huge mama's boy,and is always looking for attention off her,which sometimes angers his father but he allows it.Afua was the heir to the throne but he declined,saying being a king would be pretty borning,and his sister would be better.

Kovu and Shauna were surprised at his brave decision,but were also very proud of him.Afua continued to be the little,stubborn and energetic brat that he is... and he never really grew up.Of course,he became a handsome adult,but he never truly matured.He still had the mind of a cub,and would always run around and play like one.No one complained though,he was a delightful guy and everyone adored him.

Afua noticed how different his sister had become... she was colder now,and kept talking about how 'Zira and Scar were right,the ways of this land is wrong'.Upon hearing this,Afua decided to actually take the throne.Surprised and confused of his sudden change in mind,his parents agreed.Afua became  the heir  once more.However,Akila was outraged and horrofied of this news.After all,he had given it up,saying she'd be better... why the heck would he take it back?Was it to hurt her,trick her into believing she was important then crush her dreams?Afua tried to explain but she wouldn't listen.She ran away,into the Outlands.

Afua was heartbroken and felt guilty,but Rafeki told him that he shouldn't feel that way.She would be a dark Queen,unfitted for the throne.Afua was a little happier,but he missed his sister dearly.When Kovu passed away,Shauna stepped down and Afua became the king of the Pride Lands.Everything was great,until...

Akila had become leader of her own pride of lions and lionesses,and was planning to go to war with Afua.She demanded him to fight,but Afua refused.He didn't want to fight his sister,and he would never dare do it.He'd never hit a female,no matter if she was his sister or not.Akila was annoyed and clearly ticked off.She screamed,"Am I not worth the time to fight!?" Afua was confused,then smiled and simply replied,"You are... but we're part of the same family.We shouldn't be acting like this.Your my sister and you mean the world to me.I will not fight,not even if I'm forced." 

Akila was shocked and was left speechless.She sighed heavily and realized how foolish she'd been.She agreed to stop this 'war',but her followers weren't so easy to forgive.They wanted revenge for being pushed into the Outlands,and attacked without mercy.Some good lionesses were lost in the Pridelands that day,but Afua gave a mighty roar and stopped the madness.Akila was extremely hurt and betrayed.She blamed herself for this chaos,but Afua forgave her and accepted her back into the pride.

Though some other lionesses didn't like the fact Afua allowed Akila to come back into the pride,they accepted it and moved on.Afua was delighted to have his sister back.Though he was King,he was still that childish,hyper and boundless cub that he was,deep inside.He had matured,but only when it mattered.The Kingdom of the Pridelands loved their King,and worshipped him with a bright smile.Afua felt proud,and hoped that his father and mother would be proud of himself as well...
