Siblings: Mufasa and Taka/Scar

Personality: Neema is the middle ground between her two brothers, she is smart and she is strong but not to the degree that her brothers are. She is generally very peaceful, prefering to solve problems through deplomacy rather than violence. Like her mother, she believes heavily in justice and protecting the weak and so she will not hesitate to point out injustitces and do her best to write them, even when they come from her own brother.

History: Neema was the youngest and only female cub of Ahadi and Uru.

She was in the same litter as Mufasa and Taka and was closer with both her brothers from a very young age. She would sometimes get teased for the fact that she was a girl but this was usually light-hearted and never really resulted in a fight.

However, as they got older, the three siblings began to drift apart from each other. Mufasa and Taka began preparing for the day when one of them would fill their mother's role as the ruler of the Pridelands whereas Neema began to learn how to hunt.

Things got heated between Mufasa and Taka when Sarabi and her friend Sarafina arrived in the Pridelands as betrothed for each prince. It wasn't decided which lioness would be betrothed to which prince but both brothers had their eye on Sarabi. Neema tried, and failed, to keep the peace between her elder brothers but her words weren't heeded by either of them. Eventually, Sarabi was betrothed to Mufasa and Sarafina to Taka then, to add further strife, Mufasa was named as heir to the throne.

Things only got worse from there.

Neema was one of the first to notice that Taka became more and more withdrawn but any attempt to talk to him just ended up with her being pushed away. Eventually she gave up trying to reach out to him because he simply ignored her or lashed out.

Then he got his scar. He gained it after getting on the bad side of a water buffalo whilst trying to make Mufasa look bad to their parents. He refused to answer to Taka anymore and insisted that people call him 'Scar' instead. Neema only began calling it when it was clear he would not speak or even look at her if she called him by his birth name.
