History: Sana was born in a large pride with many other cubs. She has two older brother named Rasul and Kafil. The day Sana was born, she instantly connected with Kafil. When she was an infant, he would constantly stay around her just to watch his baby sister. When she got a bigger older, the two were always out together. They were considered best friends.
As a cub, Sana was very close to her father. Being the only girl, she got lots of special treatment. She would constantly ask her father to come along and go on an adventure with her. He would always lead her out to a new place in the kingdom and play with her. He promised that when she was older, he would take the entire family to go on a big exploration of new prides. Sana often talked about her father’s promise with all her friends. She just simply couldn’t wait.
As a cub, Sana was very popular. She had many friends and was extremely outgoing. It seemed everyone loved hanging out with her. Sana was never mean and she made everyone feel loved. Her brother Kafil was a bit more on the shy side, so she would bring him along with her friends. Her friends became Kafil’s new friends, making him much happier. Sana helped her brother make new friends and become a little more outgoing, but made sure never to push him into doing things he did not want to. In return, Kafil stayed by his sister’s side. He cheered her up whenever she was bored. Kafil was always ready to play with Sana, and made sure to listen carefully to everything she said. He knew her very well and she understood him. However, Sana did not have that great of a relationship with her eldest brother, Rasul. Rasul was the complete opposite of Sana. Rasul was the oldest in the family, and the most mature. He did not fool around all day, or have many friends. He enjoyed quiet peaceful times by himself, while Sana found him boring. He was very protective over her and when their parents were out hunting he was left in charge, Rasul was in charge so he didn’t often let Sana go and explore. Rasul and Sana always had a rocky relationship.
As time went on, Sana and Rasul’s relationship got worse. They were constantly breaking out into arguments. Sana often tried her best to stay away from Rasul, mostly spending time with her father or Kafil. One day, however, she was not so lucky. Rasul told Sana she was being childish and should grow up. Sana, of course, fought back and told Rasul that he was wrong. They screamed at each other for a bit, before Sana stormed off. Kafil, being Sana’s best friend, ran after her. They went to the far borders of the kingdom and just played tag, to get their mind off of everything. Kafil managed to make Sana feel a lot better, so they decided to go back home. When they returned, they were horrified. They stood on a hill, watching their kingdom burn. A fire had started, for unknown reasons. It didn’t seem to end. They desperately looked for their family and, sadly, were forced to witness some of their friends get burned. Rasul found them first and lead their mother with them. They family got out safely but someone was missing. When the fire stopped, the pride was destroyed. Sana’s father’s body was found soon after. He died protecting his friend and her cubs. This was heart breaking for Sana. She had always been Daddy’s Little Girl. The land was completely destroyed so the survivors were forced to go out and find new homes.
The family traveled out, looking for a new start. Normally, Sana would enjoy the new adventure but it would never be fun when her father was not there to enjoy it with her. Kafil didn’t say anything to her, because he knew it wouldn’t work. He simply stayed right to her, ready to comfort her. It wasn’t long until the family found a new beautiful place. Kafil and Sana ran off to explore, but had Rasul keeping a close eye on them. Their mother went to go find the others that lived there. At the time, Mufasa was king. He looked at the family and, after hearing their story, quickly allowed them to live in the Pride Lands. The family was very thankful. Kafil was the same age as Simba, Mufasa’s son, but he was too shy to really say hello, even though they saw each other every day. Sana loved walking around the Pride Lands, with Kafil by her side. It was a beautiful place and she kept imagining that her father would also love it. Rasul was a bit depressed after they were welcomed to the Pride Lands, because instead of keeping his mind of watching his siblings he reflected on what happened. Mufasa had somehow helped him through it, which Sana found very impressive. It wasn’t long until they made friends. Kafil’s first friend was a cub named Chumvi. They met when Kafil was alone getting water from the water hole. He brought Chumvi to meet Sana and the three became very close. Chumvi later introduced Sana and Kafil to the other cubs. It wasn’t long before Sana had a whole new group of friends that loved her. She especially hung out with Chumvi, Kula, Nala, and Tama. Sana and Simba would always get into friendly arguments over who was going to be the leader. Kafil and Simba did eventually become good friends, however.
Too bad the good couldn’t last for long. News spread about Mufasa and Simba’s death. Everything changed after that. Scar, Mufasa’s brother, took the throne and introduced hyenas to the Pride Lands. Rasul, along with a group of other young males, told Scar that the hyenas would take all of their food, without being aware of the amount of resources. Scar knew that with the amount of young males in the Pride, they might be able to overthrow him. He exiled all the adult males in the pride. They were forced out, including Rasul. Sana’s mother was very upset of losing her oldest son and even Sana missed Rasul always fighting with her. The male cubs were allowed to stay, just in case one was able to become Scar’s heir if he did not have a mate that could give him a son. Sana’s mother did not want to stay in the Pride Lands anymore, and she wanted to be with Rasul, so they planned to leave but Scar wouldn’t let them. They weren’t going to listen, though. When night came, the family ran off but did not completely make it. Scar ordered the hyenas after them. Sana and Kafil managed to cross the border, but their mothers grabbed by the hyenas. Sana wanted to help but someone grabbed both her and Kafil. It was Rasul, who saved them before the hyenas could get them too. He went back for his mother, but it was too late, so Rasul took Sana and Kafil away from the Pride Lands.
The three siblings lived in the middle of nowhere, with the other males that were exiled. Some females left the Pride Lands as well, including a family friend named Fitallenie. She was happy to look over the cubs but Sana missed her birth mother, and made sure to never leave Kafil alone. She noticed how Kafil stopped smiling for a while, and she tried to cheer him up. For the first time, Rasul and Sana didn’t argue. And it stayed that way for years. They were all they had left, and they wouldn’t let anything ruin that. Years passed, and Sana grew into a teenager/young adult. Still, the siblings were together and never left each other’s side. Rasul and Sana were a lot closer now, and Sana went to Rasul with everything. Rasul confessed to his sister that he only wanted to go and finish what they had started in the Pride Lands. Sana managed to convince him to go back and fight with her. They gathered up the remaining exiled males and stormed to the Pride Lands, knowing now Scar was old and hopefully weaker. When they arrived, they rushed to see the lionesses. Sana ran into Nala, who had explained that Simba was alive and coming this way to challenge Scar. She immediately helped organize the attack and the whole pride helped Simba overthrow Scar. Scar was killed, and Simba became king. Everything was perfect. The siblings stayed in the Pride Lands for a while, until Sana decided to do something new. She wanted to go and explore the world, much like what her father wanted. Rasul happily let Sana go fulfill her dream, but it took Kafil a little more convincing. He eventually let her go, and she went on her travels.
Sana visited her brothers regulary until she met Adu, a young male from the Pride Lands. She later abanadones her travels as an adult to live with Adu in the Pride Lands but they make sure to take many vacations.
