History: The first thing Hizaya remembers was being awoken to the sound of Hyena’s laughter. She reacted quickly, running away from the pile of bones she’d been lying in, and ran off as quickly as she could from the clan she’s sure was chasing her.  After this, Hizaya had been absolutely terrified of hyenas, and does everything in her power to avoid them.
Soon after this incident, Hizaya managed to teach herself how to hunt sleeping birds in trees, also their eggs. She also learnt how to catch young or weak gazelle, and whenever she had the chance, she had become a skilled fisher.
Unlike most panthers normally would, Hizaya taught herself to survive in the harsh African desert rather than the much cooler Jungles, and has even caught site of a few lionesses hunting.
Although she has never seen another lion with her strange, ugly markings, she does think about joining a pride with her ‘fellow lions’.

Relation To TLK: Has seen Simba and Nala playing, although she hasn’t met them.
