History:  Cyra was born first, but her brother came soon after her. Her brother was meant to be born first, but wasn't. Cyra was the first to walk. Her brother always wanted to be the bigger sibling by preotecting her from bullies and Outlanders. Cyra, as a cub, always wanted to take up for herself for a change, but her brother would never let her. She got tired of her brother always coming around when she could take up for herself.

As she grew into a teenager, her brother still stood up for her. She decided to tell her father, Kovu. "Dad! Asante won't leave me alone!" Cyra yelled. "I'll have a talk with him, Cyra. Just go play." Kovu smiled. She smiled back and ran off. Asante was about to run after her, but was stopped by his father. "Asante! A word, please?" Kovu asked. "Uhh... sure dad." Asante said. He followed his father.

"I have gotten a complaint from Cyra that you have been following her around and sticking up for her when she can take care of it herself. Is this true?" He asked Asante. "No dad! I haven't followed her around not once!" "Asante..." Kovu said. "Fine. i have been following her around since we were cubs." Asante said. "Son, you need to learn that Cyra CAN take care of herself." Kovu said. Asante nodded. "Okay, dad."  Kovu smiled.

In her adult years, Asante disobeyed his father, and still protected Cyra. "ASANTE!" Cyra said. She was getting agitated. "What?" He asked her. "Why are you following me again?!" She yelled. "Cause I want to!' He yelled back. "Fine! You can follow me around the rest of your life for all I care!" Cyra yelled and stormed off. Asante sighed. "I just want to protect her from danger... after all, she is my sister... my big sister..."

From that day on, he protected her from danger, but only a few times, and he would go off on his own to find a mate or do something where he couldn't follow his sister 24/7.
