Personality: Maxwell is a considerate, gentle lion, who would never wish halm on anyone. He considers himself lucky to have a great life, since his parents were none-lovers, and greatly respects lions lower than him, and usually doesn't speak his mind. However, when it comes to family, he is extremely over-protective of them, since he doesn't want them getting hurt. He is honest, loyal and will always do what is right.

Likes: His family, being safe, knowing that everything is fine, others who trust him

Dislikes: Rouges, his family hurt, not knowing what is going on, being put in the spotlight

History: His father, Chumvi, had a huge crush on Kula when he was a cub, and so one day, as an adult, forced Kula to mate with him. Later, Kula was terrified to find out that she was pregnant, and Mheetu got into a fight with him. Kula was scared of becoming a mother, and didn't know what she would do if she had a cub that never listened to her.

Instead Kula had Maxwell, and she was delighted to watch him grow up as a loyal, kind, gentle lion, very much like his mother. However, when Maxwell was six months old, Chumvi found out about Maxwell and tried to attack him. Kula heard and flew at him, trying to get him off, but Chumvi pushed her away. Mheetu saw and had a short fight with Chumvi but once again he was too strong. Nala, who just so happened to be passing by, saw the fight and ran to help. She managed to drive him off but Kula was terrified for Maxwell, and always kept him within her sight. For a week after the attack Maxwell didn't even dare to go out of his cave, for fear of meeting his father again. Finally he dared to look outside, but even when he did play outside Maxwell didn't stay out of his mother's sight.

It was only when Maxwell was a teenager when he stopped worrying about Chumvi. He had grown stronger, and so explored further, although Kula didn't want him to. Finally she took him to the pridelands, where he met many other lions. He was amazed at how big the place was, and wanted to visit there every day. Finally when he was an adult he said goodbye to his mother and left for the pridelands.

However, on the way he was attacked by another lion. Maxwell knew who it was right away. It was Chumvi. But Maxwell was not a helpless cub, so he fought back. Yet, despite his best efforts, Chumvi was much stronger than him, and he was sure he was going to die. Then a lioness with an orange pelt spotted them and bounded into the fight, her eyes ablaze. She quikly defeated Chumvi, and Maxwell recognised her as Adia, the daughter of Sarafina and Scar. He knew she already had a mate, but thanked her with a nuzzle anyway. Adia nodded and showed Maxwell the rest of tge way to the pridelands. Maxwell soon settled in, although he wasn't used to so many lions living in one place, but noticed that many males ended up with a mate. Sometimes even cubs. Maxwell envied them, and decided to search for a mate.
