Meaning: Calm, Quiet

 

Personality: Livu is a quiet, yet curious, cub. He always obeys his parents and is very attached to his mother, Nala. Livu likes to hears stories his mother tells him about the Pridelands, even though she doesn't tell him how hard the times were during Scar's Reign.

 

Likes: His parents, his Pride, exploring, stories, the stars.

 

Dislikes: Getting lost, Kiara's stubbornness

 

Parents: Simba and Nala

Cubs: None

 

Story: Livu is born only a few minutes after Kiara, making him the second in line to the throne. Being quieter than his sister, both Simba and Nala name him Utulivu, but call him by his nickname, Livu.

Both Livu and Kiara grow up and develop completely different personalities: while Kiara is agitated and stubborn, Livu is calm and would rather spent his time with Nala and the other lionesses.

Even though Livu wasn't going to be the King, Simba would teach him the same things he was teaching Kiara and Livu would listen to each word. Livu never felt jealous for his sister, even though she would tease him sometimes about her being the next Queen.

As Kiara wanders away to explore, Livu goes with her. As they wander further than they should from the Pride Rock, Livu starts to get scared and begs Kiara to go back home with him. But Kiara doesn't listens and tries to distract Livu by playing hide and seek with him. When Livu took too long to find her, Kiara went back to the Pride Rock, leaving her brother alone and lost. Livu called Kiara over and over, but then he realized he was alone and lost.

The sun had already set in the Pridelands and Livu was alone and scared. As stars began to appear in the sky, Livu remembered the stories his father had told him about the Great Kings of the past. He felt more calmer when he thought about all those Kings watching over him and protecting him.

Later, Simba, Nala and some lionesses find Livu sleeping in the grass. Nala wakes him up and he gives his mother a long and tight "hug". As they walk back home, Livu asks his father about Kiara. Simba replies that she would spent a good time without being allowed to go out of the Pride Rock.
