PersonalityKira is a tough girl that hates being pushed around.She knows how to stand up for herself and others,and isn't afraid to talk back to the meanest of bullies.She's very stubborn,and can throw a tantrum if she doesn't get her way.Even though she's a tough girl,she has a soft spot.Whenever she gets upset,she runs to her father for comfort.As she matures,she becomes more calm and sensible,yet she still has a tough,stubborn attitide.

History:Kira is the first born to Kovu and Kiara and is meant to be the future Queen.Kovu however didn't exactly see her as just a Queen.He saw her as a fighter.Kira showed great interest in fighting skills,and so Kovu began to train her.Whenever she wasn't training or her mother wasn't teaching her about being a Queen,she'd go off and explore the OutLands.She loves exploring the Outlands,though her mother had warned her to stay away.Kira,of course,was stubborn and promised she'd be fine.All through her cubhood she was a real trouble maker,and Kiara found it rather hard to cope with her.Kira was always speaking harsh towards Kiara and she didn't understand why.Kira always talked to her father with respect,yet she turned cold and harsh towards Kiara.The parents were beginning to get worried about their daughter.Kovu decided to ask Kira why she disliked her mother so much.Kira replied with "It's not that I dislike her it's just I don't want to end up like her."Kovu reported this to Kiara,who became very puzzled.

Over the years Kira became a beautiful lioness,and she became more mature and sensible.She snapped less at her mother,but she trained more and more with her father.She became the pride's top fighter,and Kovu believes she'd be stronger than an average male.Kira was very boyish,but her mother had told her to start looking for a mate to settle down with.Kira frowned on the idea of getting a mate.She had only begun to like to idea of becoming Queen,and now her mother expects her to like the idea of getting a mate.

When her parents said that she was bethrothed to someone in another pride,she was furious.One,because she'll have to leave her best friend Enzi,and two,she didn't even know the guy.But she was sent to the other pride,a few lionesses joining her.However,Kira couldn't bare it,and she ran back to the Pride Lands.She met Enzi half way and cried,saying she didn't want to be bethrothed to someone she never knew.She stayed with him,and refused to leave the Pride Lands.Kiara and Kovu soon gave up and bethrothed the two,seeing as they were finally falling in love with each other.
