Name: Rachel
Age: Varies
Gender: Female
Parents: Kalum and Mary
Siblings: Richard
Crush/mate: Lewis, open
Cubs: Ash, Craig, open
Personality: Out-going and fun-loving, no matter what she always has some adventure on her mind. Give her five minutes and she's dragging you out on an adventure. Sometimes she even takes you to places that she didn't even know about, although she says she did. Rachel often can't keep her mouth shut, and often acts before she thinks. She is a bite first ask questions later kind of girl, to go along with how stubborn she is, and when it comes to battle once she's angry your in for it, within twenty seconds you'll probably be seriously injured, because Rachel shows no fear. Only, however, if Rachel is fuming, or if she knows it's for the best, will she go in for the kill. Deep down, Rachel would never want anyone to die, and she would hate to watch anyone die slowly and painfully. When it comes to killing, even then Rachel is a bit of a softie, she won't want anyone to suffer, she would rather you die quickly without feeling much pain. That is rare, however. Rachel has a short temper and is like a time bomb ticking away. Rachel is almost a disaster waiting to happen. Sometimes, it's very rare but it does happen, Rachel knows when she has to keep her mouth shut, and will. But unfortunately most of the time Rachel is not afraid to tell anyone exactly what she thinks of them and doesn't really care about what their feelings might be. Rachel often finds it hard to apologise, but will if she needs to. On top of all this, she has a close bond with her brother, and is more often likely to think through what she says to him, but not very much.
Likes: The sun, going on adventures, her brother, knowing everything, winning, being right
Dislikes: Baths, being in trouble, being grounded, arguing with her brother, losing, giving up
History: Rachel and her twin brother were born in the middle of summer. They grew up together and were inseperable. Whenever it was bath time they would have to have a bath together, and shared the same hate for it. They would often try to escape which made Mary's job a lot more difficult than it needed to be. Then the minute it was over Rachel would shoot off like a bullet, with Richard by her side. Within a minute they would have discovered a new place to explore, and then would get into trouble.
One day Rachel and Richard were exploring when they came across the outlands. Rachel, of course, bounded into the forbidden land at once with Richard hot on her tail. Rachel was sniffing some bones when she heard a growl. Suddenly Rachel was knocked off her feet and pinned to the ground. She struggled, trying to see who the attacker was but he had his paw on her head. Then she heard something that made her freeze for just a second. "We kill spies here, and you are no acception. Say goodbye." Rachel twisted round and bit his paw hard. The male loosened his grip a little, and that was all Rachel needed. She flicked him off her then bounced up, getting ready to fight. He was a cub, obviously in training to fight, but he was about to be beaten by a girl. "You little-" The male began but Rachel pounced on him. She had a feeling that this fight was a matter of life and death and she had to fight for her life. Nearby, Richard was rolling around in the dust with a female. Rachel scratched him hard and bit his chest then finally pinned him to the ground. "Leave us alone, we are not spies, we were simply exploring, sorry for thinking that this place was empty." She growled, her voice drenched with sarcasm at the last part. The male looked across and gasped. He pushed Rachel off then pushed her brother. He grabbed the lioness and dragged her to his pride. She looked unconsious. "Leave and never come back." He growled. Rachel and Richard sprinted off back to the pridelands, unable to believe what an adventure they had.
About a week after the meeting with the lion cub Rachel was watching the herd, thinking about what it would be like hunting them, then she saw a flash of fur. Rachel recognised it at once. She pounced on the lion cub she had seen a week ago and pinned him to the ground. "You were going to kill us for being on your land yet now you hunt on land you know is ours." She hissed in his ear. Rachel was ready for his attack. She jumped up and landed her paw on his head. Then Rachel got off him. "What are you doing hunting in our lands?" She asked. The male looked at her. "There is no prey in our lands, we have no choice." He replied. Rachel glared at him for a second then saw the truth in his eyes. "Fine, but you can't hang around too long, the lionesses will see you if your not careful." She mumbled. "You know I only attacked you because those were my orders." The male explained. "But, um, if you ever want to meet up sometime near the river you crossed to play, well, I'll be waiting." Rachel nodded then sprinted off to tell Richard. They bumped into each other and had similar news. Richard was going to meet Emma, who turned out to be the sister of the lion she had agreed to meet, and would play with her. Rachel realised she had forgotten to ask what his name was. She decided to ask him the next day.
The next day Rachel waited by the log for ages. He didn't seem to be coming. Rachel turned around and was about to leave until she heard pawsteps on the log. Rachel turned and saw the lion padding calmly across it. "Where have you been? I've been waiting forever for you!" She complained. "Cool it, I had to train today, like every day." He explained. Rachel nodded. "What's your name, anyway?" She asked. "Lewis." He replied. "Cool, I'm Rachel." She smiled. The two played together until sunset, the Lewis said goodbye to her and left for the outlands. Rachel ran off to her mother, who was not that concerned about her daughter, since she never came home until sunset anyway.
For a long time the friendship between the two remained a secret, but then one day Adia caught them playing together and jumped in front of Rachel. "Leave this land now." She growled. Lewis ran back over the log, and rachel watched him go. Putting her ears down, she looked at Adia. "I won't tell your mother." She sighed. "But he is from an enemy pride, he will get you to fall in love with him, then he will get you on his side, kill you or kill someone you love. I don't want you to play with him again." Adia left, leaving Rachel standing there in wonder. Was her friendship with Lewis really a danger to the pride?
Rachel grew up to be a pretty young lioness, but she could never forget the kind eyes that belonged to her cubhood friend. Lewis. She missed him so much. Every day she had sat by the log, waiting, just in case she saw him passing by, but she never saw him. Rachel thought that he hated her, or that he forgot about her, or even worse, had died under the pressure of all the training. Rachel gave up all hope, and continued to act like the same old Rachel. She fooled everyone, although Richard was suspicious, and wasn't questioned. but every time she looked at herself, she was whole at first, then half of her seemed to fade away. Rachel couldn't understand it.
One day, when she was out hunting, she saw a lion hunting in her territory. Rachel pounced on him then recognised him when he spoke. Rachel got off him. "Lewis!" She cried, hugging him. "Where have you been? I haven't seen you since Adia caught us as cubs!" Lewis looked at her. "Sorry, Rachel, heavy training, they made me work all day to fight, it always happens at a certain age for the cubs in my pride." He explained, hugging her back. "What are you doing in the pridelands?" She asked. "Well, I'm supposed to be on a mission to spy on this pride." He admitted. "But I don't really want to do it, I only agreed because I knew you were here. Can you take me to your king? I have important news to tell him."
Rachel and Lewis were soon in front of King Simba. Lewis explained that they planned on killing the king when the lionesses were out hunting. Simba wasn't sure that Lewis was telling the truth but Rachel knew he was by looking into his eyes. She told Simba it was all true, he would never lie about something like this, and thankfully Simba believed her.
A week later the lions from the rival pride lined up, ready to kill the pridelanders. Lewis stood beside Rachel, and she suddenly felt braver than ever. She charged into battle with the others, and fought like crazy. Then she began to worry. She couldn't see Lewis. Rachel pushed her way through the croud of fighting lions until she saw the leader. Rachel knew it had to be done, and got ready to pounce on him, then she saw Lewis. Rachel sneaked up on them to hear their conversation. She heard the leader of the rival pride tell Lewis he had done a great job fooling everyone, and Rachel was heart broken. After hearing the leader tell Lewis to kill the king, all of his heirs and then Rachel and her brother, Rachel turned to leave. Then she heard something, one word from Lewis' mouth. "No." Rachel's heart skipped a beat, as she turned back. He refused to kill her pride, and Rachel sighed with happiness when she heard him say that he loved her. Then the leader leapt on Lewis and knocked him out. Rachel growled and leapt on him. Furious for hurting Lewis, Rachel tore his throat out while she raked her claws into him. The battle came to a sudden stop. Rachel got off the dead leader, and his followers fled back into the outlands. Rachel walked up to Lewis and nudged him. He didn't move. Rachel took him back to pride rock and called Rafiki to help him.
Unfortunately, Lewis didn't remember anything when he woke up, he forgot about Rachel, and his old pride, he forgot about pride rock and the fight, all he remembered was his name. Rachel was so upset that he had completely forgotten about her, and was glad that she had killed the leader of the pride he came from. Over the days Rachel did her best to somehow try and remind Lewis about his past, but every time she failed. Rachel asked Rafiki on what might help, and he replied it was unlikely Lewis would ever get him memory back, the only way might be to hit him on the head with the same force that the leader had given him, or more. Rachel tried, but failed every time. It looked like he would never remember.
Then, a month after the accident, the rival pride struck again. This time Emma came with a warning, and the two prides fought again, with a new leader, the former one's son. Rachel stood by Lewis, protecting him, when the new leader came up. He leapt on Lewis but Rachel pushed him off and pounced on him. The two rolled around in the dirt, fighting feircly, until eventually Rachel was pinned. The new leader got ready to kill her, but then the weight was pushed off her. Rachel turned to see Lewis and the new leader fighting. Finally the new leader swiped Lewis, his claws extended, and Lewis fell to the ground. This was all Rachel needed. She was fuming. She leapt on the leader, who was taken by surprise at the sudden attack, and bit hard at his neck. Rachel left him for a few seconds before biting him again. This happened ten times. Finally Rachel tore the lion's throat out, ending his life the same way she had ended his fathers. Many of his followers fled, but some stayed behind, shocked. Rachel took the chance and ran to Lewis. "Rachel..." He mumbled. "Lewis, come on, hang in there." She pleaded. Lewis licked her gently. "I don't know why, I ever forgot, who you were." He managed a weak smile. Rachel was shocked. "You remember me!" She cried. The force of the leader's hit must have restored him memory. Then Lewis suddenly began panting. Rachel became worried. "Rachel, I just need to say before I go, that I love you, so much. Goodbye my love." Lewis choked. "No, Lewis, please don't leave me!" Rachel cried. Lewis' eyes began to close. "Lewis, I'm pregnant." She whispered in his ear. Lewis managed to smile before his eyes closed for the very last time. Tears dripped down from her muzzle. Rachel let them. Lewis was gone.
Two months later, Rachel had twin boys. She noticed that they looked so much like their father, and Rachel remembered the conversation that she and Lewis had a while ago. Lewis had said if they ever had two boys, they would name the eldest Ash and the youngest Craig. So Rachel followed what Lewis had said. Ash and Craig.
