History:

Yearoo was born near the end of Scar's reign. Scar needed an heir, and as none of his own cubs would do, his mate, Zira, wanted to take Yearoo and raise him as her own son so he could be Scar's heir. Yearo's mother, Karloo, refused to let Zira have her son, which angered Zira. Though Zira eventually adopted another cub named Kovu, who then became Scar's heir, she still held a grudge against Karloo, so when Simba returned and banished all Scar's followers to the Outlands, Zira, as revenge, convinced him that Karloo was also one of Scar's followers, and so she and Yearoo were banished along with the rest of the Outsiders. Yearoo's father, Zoni, remained in the Pride Lands, and visited Karloo and Yearoo whenever he could. Yearoo was often bored and lonely in the Outlands, with only his mother's company. Eventually he met Vitani, and she became his best friend.
