Bio-
Soma was born to two loving parents- a father and a mother, both with beautiful caramelly-golden and black pelts. Soma's, however, was a charcoaly black color. Soma saw this as uglyness, her parents were stunning- the color of the sun, while she was just inky. She'd roll around in the dusty tan dirt for hours to try and mimic her parent's color, but it would never look the same as theirs. Crestfallen, Soma moped around until her parents convinced her that her coloration was just as beautiful, if not more. They told her that her color was like the night- and that not many others had the same colors. Her father even began to teach her how to hunt in the night.
However, in Soma's teen years the little family had strayed too close to a cackle of hyenas. The three leopards ran, Soma took the lead and never turned back. She never knew if her parents, whom she loved so dearly, survived or not. Days later, weak and tired, she collapsed in the center of the pridelands. She woke up underneath a large Boabab tree. An old Baboon hovered over her. For the next few months Soma never strayed far from the Boabab tree, only to hunt if she ever did. She became friends with the crazed Baboon named Rafiki and began to follow him on his way to Pride Rock. The sight of all the lions unnerved her at first, but Rafiki assured her it was okay.
Later on in life, Soma became a great friend of the pride and was even permitted to hunt on their lands. She began to take an interest in finding a mate, or at least, a boyfriend.
