Personality: Malia is a very energetic cub, who loves to play. She is very giggly and always smiling. Malia is a leader, though some don't exactly believe they should listen to her. She loves to laugh and joke around. Malia is also very curious. She always off exploring, and dragging someone along with her.

Likes: Exploring, Laughter, Playing, Being in charge, Making others smile

Dislikes: Being treated like the weakest, Being told no

History:

Malia was born during Simba's time as king. She was a runt when born, but that didn't stop her. She was always off exploring as a cub. If she wasn't off getting into trouble, she was playing with the others cubs and trying to act in charge. Everyone was worried about her, being smaller than the others, but she hated when others treated her like a baby. Malia refused to listen to them, she knew she was the bravest cub out there.

One day, while out playing, she ran into another cub. Malia recognized him. He was Abasi, Simba's youngest son. Malia grinned, pouncing on him. She startled him but just giggled and asked him if he had time to play. Abasi wasn't doing much right now so he agreed and the two ran off to play together. They were off exploring when Malia noticed the elephant graveyard. She wanted to see what's in there, and so did Abasi. The two ran off into the shadowy land full of bones. Abasi offered his protection if she got scared. Angry, Malia tackled him and pinned him to the ground. She explained she could take care of herself. Just then, the two cubs heard a noise. The looked around, but could not see anything. A large lion jumped out at them, and even scared Malia but it was just Simba here to take his son home. Abasi got into a lot of trouble, Simba was angry that he also dragged Malia along with him but Malia stood up for her friend and explained what really happened. Simba was still very mad at his son, who had heard the story of the elephant graveyard before.

Both cubs were not let off easily, but in time they were forgiven. Malia blamed herself for getting Abasi into trouble, but Abasi showed no sign of not wanting to be around her. The two cubs played everyday, but there was always someone to  keep them out of trouble. One day, Malia had not heard from Abasi and decided to go looking for him. It was not like him at all to miss their play dates. Malia searched for a while and even wandered out of the Pride Lands. She only ended up getting lost herself. Unaware, that Abasi had been hurt by a bear and was just rescued by his father. Malia was hopelessly lost. She was sure she knew the way back home, only to wander farther away. Malia did not find her way back home in time for sunset. She was forced to find a place to hide, and sleep. Poor Malia didn't sleep at all, due to all the strange noises. Luckily for her, Abasi noticed his friend was gone and told his father. The next morning, Malia was found by Simba and reunited with her family, and best friend Abasi.

Abasi and Malia were still friends, and were still always getting into trouble but deep inside Malia knew she liked Abasi a little more than a friend. Though, she tries not to admit it.
