Personality: Taji is very mature; as a cub and adult. He’s a rule stickler, following all the rules his parents give him and his sisters firmly; however, he does know how to have good fun every once in a while. He’s very warm-hearted and responsible, often telling his sisters stories from his vast imagination, or watching them when they go play outside of Pride Rock. As a cub and adult he’s always making sure that his sisters are always safe and that no danger comes their way. This may make him at times be extremely over-bearing and protective. He’s also an intent listener, taking in every little detail that his parents taught him about ruling, which made him a bit of a perfectionist. He also has a bit of OCD from ruling (but he’s not arrogant), and everything has to be just so with him. Due to this he has a short temper if he doesn’t like something, and is prone to sulking, being silent, and acting cold if something happens and he doesn’t like it, or if he doesn’t get his way.     

History: Taji was the first born of Kovu and Kiara’s cubs. He had two healthy sisters, but his parents decided that he, being the first-born, should be King. They presented him with his siblings, and then named him Taji, and his two sisters Malkia (queen), and Adanne (mother’s daughter).

As Taji and his sisters grew up happily as cubs; Taji would often be eager to learn about being King, and he also enjoyed playing with his two other siblings. His parents noticed that he was a respectful and kind cub, and were happy that he was never arrogant about ruling the Pridelands when he was older.
